Just somethings ive noticed

There are alot of scammers on this site.
Well there always will be.
I think a key idea would be to have undercover mods do trades to find out whos the legit traders and who are the scammers.

And besides that this site is amazing i love it, so much to do about rs here =]
makes things fun while autoing. good going guys =]

 

Haha that sounds like so much fun, but we don't have the money to lose just to get a little kid banned from a site when he will most likely come back.

 

Theres always going to be scammers around, you just have to be smart and use your senses to know who is more likely to scam. I don't theink the Sythe staff will spend time hiring undercover mods. Also you can't really have that feature on vBulletin, as all usergroups need to have a certain color that indicates which group they fall under.

^ Not necessarily, as you can see, users who have donated do not contain any colours. They could easily make vB assign someone to be mod with no specific colour nor image, but still have access to the MOD CP.

 

he needs to SCAMM to be banned.... so the undercover mod... needs an acount or cash to be scammed =D

It would waste too much time, just use a MM for every trade.

 

I already investigate alot of people and have gotten many scammers banned.

o crud now no scammers will try to trade me saying that good or bad?

but in all honesty just report people who are suspicous and or attempted to scam you to mods the problem should straighten itself you just need to be aware and not get scammed yourself.
