    Daddy needs a new computer

Akward title yes but anyways heres my situation, well taking into concideration that im getting somewhat of a job that brings in around $100+ a week(which is better than what most jobs are offering here around my area) im going to get myself a good pc(FINALY!)
for the past.. since it came out ive been working on this P.O.S.
(these are the specs only tab btw for a pic of the tower just click on the tabs)
    http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-pavilion-slimline-s7700n/4507-3118_7-32331401.html?tag=mncolBtm;rnav
i cant upgrade to windows 7 which is annoying and well instead of investing money on parts im just deciding to buy a new system all together.

it will take some time to save the amount of money i need for this comp but i think it would be worth it(if the special is still on when i have enough money that is), now the question is... whats worth it?

its always a question of this or that. >_>

pros/cons wise i dont have any so if anyone who owns one give me a list of those, that would be extreamly helpful.

    so this
    http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=desktops&a1=Category&v1=High+performance&series_name=h8m_series&jumpid=in_R329_prodexp/hhoslp/psg/desktops/High_performance/h8m_series

only thing i can find here to compare is the price, this quad core offers more than what i can get on the touchsmart for about the same price.

    http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do;HHOJSID=h3qfTXXcqTrNTdzF3G2FrstP7Nm2Z6Y1VGs6Sz9VH8zxfl0MYsfm!516961619?storeName=computer_store&category=desktops&a1=Category&v1=All-in-One+PCs&series_name=200t_series&jumpid=in_R329_prodexp/hhoslp/psg/desktops/All-in-One_PCs/200t_series

the only reason(s) i would like this is two
    1. ive had experience with this and i instantly loved it do to its speed and multi tasking capabilitys
    2. im into computer graphics as in coloring art(anime mostly) and making GFX banners signatures etc, and the touchscreen combined with a pen would make a amazing combo(i believe thats how it works? my friends touchsmart didnt have a pen so im hoping its still compatible with one for digital art)

like ive said its always a question of this and that. so a little help in this would be nice.

what i will be using the pc of mostly.
    1) Gaming
    2) GFX(digital editing, working with photoshop alot)
    3) School

heheh notice how school is last :3

Build your own, pm me or add me i can help you with that.

If i had to choose, go with the HP Pavilion HPE h8m series, you can use it for graphics, gaming and school. The all-in-one sucks in my opinion, i don't see how you can run a game with those specs. Or you can buy both, first get the all in one touch screen, try it and see if you like it, if you don't try returning it? and then when you have enough money buy the HP Pavilion HPE h8m series.

    @arashi
yea i was thinking on the HP Pavilion HPE h8m since it had alot more to offer for about the same price(id just need to buy a pen tablet for digital editing which i dont mind since its all worth it), alot of second thoughts came on the touchsmart, since its more look than hardware(did that with the slimline when it first came out, spent atleast $1500 on it and that was a big regret i lived with for about 5 years.), and about building my own i havnt the smallest clue on where to start. so ill add you when i can.

Build your own. However on the touchsmart, I have a touchsmart, not that one, its bigger, but that doesn't matter. It runs AMAZING on anything. Like no lag at all. I suggest it if you cba to build your own. It's AMAZING.
