Guide to Picking the Right Quester Service

This is just to take into consideration, not so much a MUST DO thread and also feel free to reply and add something I missed, I will try to keep this thread up to date. :)

    Introduction

Over the past couple of days I have noticed an uproar in Questing Survice threads and also, an uproar of 'Questers' taking advantage of their faithful customer. Of course this thread is not to scare you, it is to guide you away from harm and into a trusted service. This thread is aimed mainly at Questing Services and not so much other services on this page. With just a few handy tips you can leave with a nice green highlighted quest in your questing diary and for the Quester to have a nice vouch waiting on their doorstep.

    Handy Things to Note

-Although some threads might look pretty, it doesn't take much effort to change colors, miss and match them to make their thread look appealing to the eye.

-Rated thread (X/5 stars) are respectively trusted, but still keep an eye out.

-Read everything on the main thread, a thread could have a lot of information but does it have a lot of information regarding your accounts security and account information.

-Every thread has its mistakes, a questing service will try to fix these mistakes, like spelling errors, thread management and customer support issues. Threads that are aimed to scam high betters might not have these traits as real services will want everything nicely polished.

-Comments on the service relating to the Quester will help. Read through these to get an understanding of how they handle their customers, after a service has finished you could include useful information to others for their comfort.

-Advertisement can be key in finding fake threads, with many customers the happy customers will support the thread and lean towards it instead of others, if you need help in deciding on which service simply contact a trusted member of Sythe to assist you.

-Look through the Questers vouches, remember its not the quantity of vouches, its the quality.

    Steps to a Trade

Note* No order for this part, but I do insist you do most of these before trading.

-Discuss the quest value with the Quester, if your not pleased with your findings simple move to the next Service.

-If talking on a social media program/website (ie MSN, facebook, Skype), ask for a Private Message on Sythe to confirm they are indeed the right person you are talking to.

-Have a meting place in mind, or met the Quester at their desired location. Also pays off to confirm the TRADER's account name for both parties (Quester and Customer).

    What to do if Scammed

1)First step is to not assume they did it intentionally, instead calmly try to contact the Quester/Thread Owner to discuss what has happened.

    2) Screen shoots/Videos are a clear source of evidence to convict your scammer, having screen shoots of these key points will help.
-Confirmed Private Message in Sythe to show their Sythe username.
-The order sheet you have filled out or quests you have ordered, confirmed by the Quester (With payment mentioned)
-Trade screen showing an accepted trade (or with an Official Middle man)

    3) With evidence in hand its time to report it to a Sythe Moderator.

Here are some of the things you guys suggested so far :D

glamazonia - Also check out those who reply to a thread that is requesting a service, as it may also help to find a trusted quester since not all have threads up just yet.

lordzsolt - Something I could add is try not to go for the cheapest prices ever, you're better off with a reputable quester to who you pay extra 20% or so just to not lose your bank or get the job done right.

Most of the customers I have had throughout the past few days have started that they have been scammed by a fake service, so I took time out to write up some helpful tips that have so far kept me safe. :)

Another thing you should point out is to also check out those who reply to a thread that is requesting a service, as it may also help to find a trusted quester since not all have threads up just yet.

I myself am a quester but don't currently have a thread because I haven't really had much time or incentive to make one, a lot due to my availability being kind of random. Most of the time I am on, I usually just browse to see what's needed and if I can complete it/them in a reasonable time. A thread will come eventually, but I don't have a real reason to create one as of now.

    Possibly the best idea.
