Supernova (MOBA) Comprehensive Guide to Axion - How to master Axion in Supernova the RTS SciFi MOBA

    Supernova guide to Axion

    Intro
Axion has the possibility to pursue many roles without too much sacrifice. This commander's potential can truly skyrocket if you can recognise what's needed to defeat the enemy. Seen as the jack of all trades and possessing a wide toolkit to accommodate any scenario that might arise. Axion can focus on either:
    1. Dealing damage incrementally known as "ADC".
    2. Dealing damage in a burst known as "Mage".
    3. Absorbing enemy damage and providing utility known as "Brawler".
Our cyborg friend can play different positions on the map:
    1. Solo position within a lane known as an "Offlaner".
    2. Similar to the previous but exclusive in the middle lane known as "Mid".
    3. Duo along side someone "Laner".
    4. Venture into the fog of war and kill camps of monsters known as a "Jungler".
Axion generally excels at all four positions, but has a slight proficiency towards Jungler because of his high mobility abilities and the constantly replenishing resource "Stamina". Stamina is the yellow bar under the health bar, which regenerates over time and allows us to freely stay in battlefield for a long time.

    Basic Abilities
One of the few commanders with access to 7 abilities, which is one of the reasons for his multi-functionality. Your role will typically be refined by what abilities you decide to invest points in.

    (Q) Omega Blast: Instantly deals damage to all nearby enemies in a sphere-like pattern.
NOTE: Omega Blast is used to destroy enemy creeps in lane while keeping a safe distance. Since it deals damage instantly it can be used to last hit creeps more effectively.

    (W) Focused Strike: Axion's next attack deals bonus damage increased by the target's missing health. It also resets the autoattack.
NOTE: Putting points in this ability is common if going the ADC route or facing a commander with a large amount of health. Highly recommended, if 2 enemy commanders have a high health pool.

    (E) Tachyon Bolts: Fires an energy projectile towards target direction dealing damage to all enemies in its path.
NOTE: Putting points in this ability is common if going the Mage role. It's the safest way to clear a creep wave. It requires some mouse precision to effectively hit enemy commanders. Can also be used to safely scout bushes.

    (R) Take Flight - Passive: Commander kills and assists reset cooldown of Take Flight and restore Stamina.
NOTE: This passive ability is one of the reasons Axion should target and eliminate low health Commanders.

    (R) Take Flight - Active: Instantly removes all movement debuffs and fly into the air towards the mouse cursor and be invulnerable for a short duration. While airborne Axion can use one of his landing abilities (Q, W, E) or he automatically lands at the end of the duration. Axion's movement speed is increased for a short duration after landing.
NOTE: A crucial ability to remove movement impairing effects (slows, constraint, etc..). While airborne Axion can be picked up by Evacuation.

Abilities activated during (R) Take Flight
The following are the abilities that are unlocked during Axion's ultimate ability.

(R-Q) Falling Skies: Axion lands on the target area and deals damage to all enemies located in it. Damaged targets are also stunned for a short duration.
NOTE: Can be used if Axion has a low health pool upon flying in the air and can't afford to get hit by the enemy once he descends. Allocating points in this ability usually indicates a Mage role.

(R-W) Swooping Edge: Land on a target and deals damage, which is increased by the target's current health. It will also reduces the target's movement speed for a short duration.
NOTE: Further focuses on eliminating a high health commander(s).

(R-E) Path of Destruction: Axion flies in a line toward targeted direction and deals damage to all enemies in its path.
NOTE: This allows us to deal damage while creating an exit path for us to retreat also it's used defensively to traverse walls and get to a location quicker (it's faster than running). The use of this ability is paramount to maintain a fast clearing time of the creep jungle.

    Augmentations
Augmentations are also used to enhance our role/responsibility in a match.
    1. Mage: augmentations focusing on purely "Weapon Damage" is advised.
    2. ADC: a hybrid of "Weapon Damage, Attack Speed and Armor Penetration".
    3. Brawler: centred around gaining "Health & Weapon Damage".
    ______________________________
    Tacticals
Tactical are chosen before a match starts, they can further bolster our tool-kit but also counter the enemy team.

    • Laser Strike: Creates a laser beam from target location towards target directions that deals damage to enemies it passes through. Deals 36-120 damage every 0.12 seconds. Consecutive hits on the same target deal 2% reduced damage.
NOTE: Powerful when chasing enemy commanders or defensively while being chased. When used offensively, it's usually to finish off the enemy, therefore it synergiezes with (R) Take Flight - Passive.

    • Displacement: Instantly teleport to the target location or the maximum distance possible towards it.
NOTE: Similar to the previous, this can also be used offensively and defensively. Although, Axion already excels at mobility, this multi-functional Tactical fits our tool kit very well. It can also be used to go through walls (requires you to hug the wall).

    • Teleport: Teleport to a visible location on the map after casting for 6 seconds.
NOTE: Quickly returning to the battlefield is crucial to keep up in levels and push lanes.
