Staking Glitches?

Last night I started on 250m and a santa, won up to 700m with a few 100-200m stakes, then staked 200m to a guy who had previously lost to me before. Suddenly I was booted from Runescape, and my internet started lagging like crazy, no sites would load for me. I reset my router, and of course, I had lost the 200m. I tried staking my remaining 500m to a different guy, and I was booted again.

Is this some kind of staking glitch? The only thing I hate more than losing my money to legitimate stakers, is losing my money to glitchers.

 

This could be due to a ddos and someone ddosing you.. however he/she would need your ip address and you can't get someone's ip off runescape just by staking them.. if someone has your ip.. it's possible you were ddos'd during this

 

You could be getting ddosed while staking. I've heard of that before which basically makes you lag out.

I think it's possible getting your ip address through skype if you use it? Someone told me that once.

 

Yeah, I was wondering if it was a DDoS or some sort of RS glitch.

The thing is though, it wasn't only me. Another guy came after and said the same guy was glitching.

I don't even use Skype, so I don't know how he would have gotten my IP. None of my friends knew I was staking, and I wasn't on any other websites. I don't know how it happened.

 

Yeah sounds like he has some sort of glitch set up if that happened to both of you... Not sure what it could have been that. I'll try asking some friends who still actively stake to see if I can find anything out. =|

 

It can easy just be a site you entered.
I got a script for that.

Also OP this guy may have had your IP from months ago. I've spoken to people at duel arena that claim to have more accounts than I have hot meals. They switch between them and try to attack a victum until they are clean. Best of resetting your IP if you plan to stake high again

 

I don't believe there is a glitch out right now.
Ddos or unfortunate disconnect.

There was a glitch where you joined a cc and with the glitch you could disconnect anyone in your friends chat. This was a long time ago though.

I'm almost positive that someone is ddosing you, i recommend you call your ISP and get you IP changed.

 

Yeah this sounds most likely. A glitch on Rs would not disallow you to go on other websites, it would only effect Rs. My money is on you being DDoS'd. You should try change your IP to avoid more attacks.

Just be careful of websites you go on etc. Some of them fish your IP and give them out to others.

it looks like you got ddosed, you should clean your computer and run anti virus stuff on it! Im pretty sure there arnt any glitches for duel arena, atleast i think there arnt any

 

Yeah because cleaning your computer and running anti virus definitely helps you against Ddosing.

You were ddosed, unplug your router leave it disconnected for a minute and then turn it back on.

 

Yet again, this doesn't work.

Resets maybe your private ip, not your public ip.

 

Perhaps he ddoses you change your ip reset ur Internet box

 

What would you suggest then?

I would just call my ISP, if you explain the situation then they may just change it if you say your IP is being denial of serviced attacked and it's causing you problems.
