Summoning Tank into -> ?

Hello everyone.


Well, I have been working on a summoning tank, but as I got close to finishing it, I realized that I won't be getting that much loot, since they're aren't that many low level pkers.


Now, my question is: "What should I turn it into?"

1) Obby tank w/ summoning (99 str, 99 def, 99 hp, 99 summ)

2) Range tank w/ summoning (Chaotic crossbow, 99 range, 99 def, 99 hp, 99 summ)

3) Just stay a summoning tank.

4) If you have other suggestions, please leave them below.

They are for staking.

op 3 and what he said about staking, i have one almost maxed 96 def and 99 sum, i won over 200m doing dfs boxing

The first option seems appealing, however, don't give up on your summoning tank just because you won't get good loots. You never know...

 

They are completely for staking, my friend who isn't even maxed has made over 20b staking starting with a set of a d claws, took him like 2 months.

 

I say become a range tank. U'll have a lot of fun in multi pking with teams.

 

Even though it is for staking, would I ever find fights?

I agree, but I don't want to jump right into it.

Agreed, if I get maxed, I would be 62 combat. I don't think it would be hard for me to find fights at that level. But as of right now (lvl 35 cb), it's really hard to find fights.

How would I go about being a range tank?


One last question: Should I get prayer for protect from magic/smite?

 

Stay a summoning tank.

 

Since most people suggested that, I guess I'll stick with that option ^-^~

Currently 80 def, 40 hp, 47 summ. (Getting hp up after 99 def).
Also, I have 150 zeal at the moment. going for 1400 for 99 def.

Oh yah, I also have 61 dung. going for 80 to get chaotic kite. ^-^

PS: should I get prayer for protect item/ protect over mage/ smite?

 

I personally wouldn't get smite for sure. I wouldn't even get prayer at all. Generally you aren't going to be pking with chaotic shield.. I mean, dfs is loads better for summoning tanks.

Also, don't get too high of an hp. Summoning tanks for staking really just need summoning and def.

 

Alright, I guess I won't get pray.

But, I would like to get high hp, for higher combat.

With lower combat, people would assumme I would be some sort of def pure.
But, if I was sort of high, I would be in the 60s range, people would think I would be a hybrid, and I would get more fights.

 

The only option I would go for other than keeping your account the way it is, is turning into a Range Tank (since Summoning obviously doesn't affect your CB level in wild, and a good Range Tank rapes).

ANY WAY YOU GO, do it slowly and don't base your judgement solely on this thread. Just think that once you go, you can't turn back into what you are now.

 

Option 2 or 3, option 3 if u ever wana stake...stay 1 pray

 

Thanks for the opinion, but now, I've decided that I would just stay a summoning tank [:

Just went to Duel Arena, and had no problem finding fights.
But, I lost all the duels since my summ + hp is still low :3

You don't need to find people your level. Just camp deep wildy with some brews and own kids.
