Summoning on a pure

Thread title was supposed to be "summoning on a pure". Shit iPhone.

How desirable is this? If it's desirable, on what kind of builds. I personally can think of a few builds things like 92 summ and other things would be good.

Is there any use for summoning on say an obby mauler (regardless of summ level).

 

It can only raise the value of your account. It doesnt affect your combat in the wilderness. I personally find pures with high summon levels very appealing, if i see a level 70 with a 99 summ cape I would respect it more than a higher level with it.

Very desirable .. It doesn't affect your combat while pking so it becomes a very important part of a pure account.

 

i absolutly agree with ''2012 monstr'', i also would be very interested in possibly buying a low level pure with 99 summoning.

 

There are the Obby Maulers with 66 Summoning for a Barker Toad, Mage/G Maulers with 57 for the Graahk, also Mage Pures + High attack with 57 summoning for the Kyatt.

Those are the only ones i could think of on the top of my head.

Just get summoning up because if you think about it why not get it up? yeah it makes you higher cb out of wildy but in wildy it dosnt matter, and you could bring a tourt or w/e you would end up getting your summoning level too. Regardless the acc summoning is allways a positive.

 

In my opinion, go for it, get 99, its a really desirable cape too ^_^

 

If you are concerned with the visual appearance of a lower combat level outside the wild, then dont get it. But if you like the benefits it provides then get it. but i suggest if you are going to get it, get enough charms for 80+ before you even start.

Wont matter unless your staking, combat levels are seen as +1-12 depending on your summonning level anyways in the wild so it isn't a problem to level summonning.

 

These are things I all know lol.

I'm just wondering if it's something that anybody personally would like to have or if they have experience with pures with summoning and such.

I'm not talking about 52 summoning, I'm talking about good summoning.

I'm asking about different builds and such.

 

To my knowledge its only really useful if you are looking to skill/korasi.
I don't bother with multi as there is a lot of pjing/rushing/bullshit

Steel titan pures are pretty badass, the correct term for them is usually a "Summoning Tank."

You might as well just collect all charms you get from training your combat stats and raise your summoning anyways, as it has virtually no effect on your combat level in the wilderness yet is a very useful skill everywhere else in the game. Don't make the mistake I did - I played the game for like 4 months leaving my charms on the ground because I thought summoning was "bad" for PVP accounts :laugh:

 

Summoning tanks are acc's with high summoning, some def (high or low), and hp.

No range/mage/str/attack.

 

What is the difference between a summoning tank and a steel titan pure?

I thought they were basically the exact same thing, but a steel titan pure has 99 summoning definitely so it can summon a steel titan to use in combat.

 

Summoning tanks do not use steel titan as steel titan give range exp which is undesirable. Summoning tanks are defence pures with summoning levels. The best familiar that they use is Iron titan as it gives defence exp and has a sick special att.

 

Of course it's useful, pretty self explanatory. Wolpertinger gives a huge magic boost, Pack Yak allows for banking anywhere (useful for Pk'ing and money making).
