Is Luring Good Way Of Money?

Im new to luring and wanted your opinion

I have heard people claim they can make 1m+/hr but that obviously depends on what the people you lured were carrying.

Luring is one of the best ways in RS to make money imo.. behind staking and dicing ofcourse

 

To effectively lure (5-10m+ per hour) you have to be intelligent and able to manipulate people. You have to trick them into doing what you want them to do. You also have to pick your targets in relation to the skill of your killer, and the likelihood of them falling for your lure based solely on the gear they're wearing/a 5 minute conversation with them. It also takes lots of practise to become good. Top lurers have about a 40% success rate getting victims to their luring location, and a 70% chance of killing those victims once they're there.

 

So about a (0.4*0.7= ) 28% chance of killing a single person you attempt to lure.
So the expected value is successfully killing 1 person out of every 3.5 people you attempt to lure or 2/7.

Assume in takes 15 mins for the successful lure(remember this is actually luring him to the place you wanted and attacking him but not necessary killing him).

It will take about 52 mins to get 1 kill, now the important factor is how much wealth they are carrying and it may take longer time to lure someone with more wealth idk. Assume again the person you have killed was carrying 2M.

Thats make a profit of about 2.3M/hour.

This is very variable depending on the skill of the lurer

Adding onto pked u and Surround Sound, luring also revolves around luck. I've had some great days, and I've had some days where I got no luring done.

Well, you aren't losing anything to begin with. So, it's a decent way of making money.

If you can't pick up a lure/kill, you basically wasted your time.

If you need some un-leaked lure methods or some really good ones not alot of people have heard of pm me I might be able to sell you a few for a decent price. OT Luring is good is you have a good script/method if you don't and you use popular lures like the chinchompa lure etc. Then it's worthless you wwould be make a dscimmy- a whip p/hr luring the stupidest 10yr old's out there who wouuld be desperate and poor to make cash.

 

I'm just going to be upfront with you; forget it. You seem to know nothing about it + very good methods are VERY hard to come by. Just watching a few youtube video's won't make you much money mate.

 

making money of luring is sad... IMO its just " Scamming " people out of their items...

 

Its actually a part of pking since you're killing a player for loot.
So your basically saying all pkers are scammers?

 

It's of course good money if you are good at it, if not then no.
