A "Paypal addresses not to trade with" List

Similar to the list of "rs accounts not to buy", why not have a list of paypal addresses that have been linked to scammers or have been used in chargebacks? It's much harder to change a paypal address than it is to change an msn, and I think there are enough ban evaders who come back and have the same paypal address as their first-banned account.

A list of these addresses would help members avoid trading with people who have been known to scam, or with people who have been known to chargeback payments. Also, it would be very easy to update, as most scam reports have proof of a paypal address in them.

you can always google their paypal email and it may come up with banned users from sythe posting on a thread / making a thread containing that email.

Now if the List didn't exist

The scammer in the 2nd situation wouldn't think of changing his email address because its not on some list that anyone can check, people have to make an effort to find out who he is.

If his Paypal address was on a list, it would be too easy for him to get caught, so he'd change his paypal email.

 

No support, this has already been suggested and it's easy to make a new paypal account.

 

I support, although it is easy to create a new account, people may keep there Paypal if it is verified.

 

But the small percentage of people that use their main PP accounts to scam is NOT worth all the fuss of making a stickied thread with the lists and all. Along with the fact that most of the time if it is their main PP account and they have been banned on sythe you can google it and it'll most likely come up.

Support, most people will use same paypal and if they find out about this some might not even bother to come back to sythe with that same paypal. They wont bother to make another.

 

As much as it would be a good idea most likely they would just make a new account and transfer their funds over. Also not many people really check those lists so it wouldn't be that helpful. For that reason no support.

 

If a mod actually wants to go through all those emails and make a list, then sure, I'd support.

Do you people think about phished / hacked paypals before submitting shit like this? Or what if a mother lets her child use her paypal? I'm quite sure they wouldn't be too happy to see their paypal information on a forum, especially not blackmarked.

 

Support. If people are dumb enough to scam then they deserve to be in a list like this.. and no its not that easy to make new Paypal addresses especially verified ones.

 

This. You can go to your Paypal account details, change your email then verify it and VOILA changed. You can then use that new paypal email with the same bank/cc, its no big deal...

 

No support. As stated above you can easily change e-mails. Even if you can manage to track those down one can easily create a Canadian or Australian PayPal and just forward them to their main account.
