    Expanding SMS Verification

    Hey guys
First of all I'd like to thank Sythe, Matthew and other people who liked my idea about SMS Verification ( the approved one )
    Original link to thread: http://www.sythe.org/approved-suggestions/1542242-sms-verification.html

I see many of people liked this feature, as I can see many people paid $5 for their extra rank and sign of trust, but it missed the target abit
My original idea was to add SMS Verification to the login process, as I said in my previous thread : "I think it would prevent alot of scams/hackings."
At this point, it only helps in legal cases against scammers, but I meant to increase security of highly trusted and those who don't feel safe.

Once again, please post your opinion about it
*Keep in mind, this feature would be able for those, who will be able to cover costs of this service

No thanks. I'm ceebs responding/sending an SMS everytime I want to login. It's not worth the effort.

There can be a toggle option under UserCP if people want to use it. Personally, I wouldn't.

As I've stated before, this would be something people OPT IN for. Not opt out of.

Noone would be forced to use this feature. Option to toggle it on or off looks like good idea, yeah for some people who dont feel comfortable checking their mobile phone everytime they login they could just turn it off, same as on facebook, you got this feature but you are not forced to use it

I think this could work well people are willing to pay. I'm not sure of the exact cost of using Duo for a large amount of users, but let's just consider this a thread to gauge interest.

You misunderstood my post. I wasn't saying it would be automatically applied to every acc, and users would be forced to use it etc; I meant that it would be dormant until the user themselves decided to use it or not (on/off) - hence I said the toggle option.

Sure I support it, but I wouldn't use it or pay for it. No one would hack me anyway and if I did get hacked not like someone could scam hundreds lol.

I support and would be willing to pay for it. Would help account security a lot and prevent scammers from logging on.

I'm absolutely a big fan of this sms verification if it will keep my account more secure.

I'd be in favour of this, since once i'm logged on i keep logged in, so it will only block those from unknown PC's trying to log on my account, a great thought Zuzel, but...

How expensive would it actually be? Since we had to pay $5 for the first SMS?
