Vouching Suggestion

I suggest that botting someones account can not receive vouch, they technically didn't do anything, especially if it is free.

Well you're paying for the privilege of having someone else buy the bot, run it, make sure it doesn't bug out, that kind of thing. I think it's a legitimate trade

 

they don't necessarily have to buy it. They could be using a free script.

Idk it just seems as though it is a simple way for people to get vouches without putting anything on the line.

 

I'm kind of 50/50 on this honestly.

1. I'm sure that there are lots of users who just download a free script, run them for hours at a time with your account, then get paid for it and a vouch. Most people can do this on their own.

2. Not all users use free scripts, some of them pay pretty good money to get smooth running programs that are bug free and will run at optimal performance..

My idea of a solution: Only allow vouches for services if the user can prove they are using a VIP script by posting pics in their threads.

 

botting on some1's accounts shows that you have been trusted on his account, whether you get paid or not, and that is what vouches are right?

 

I disagree with vouching for free services; they are getting paid nothing therefore there is no real trade. support op.

 

Even though its a free service, they are trusting YOU to go on THEIR account with THEIR items.

 

I agree with both Heeatz and Fuzzybear. I did not trust people who went on my account to do services as I put pins for banks and only left items needed in order to complete the service. To give a standard vouch; I believe there has to something of value at risk. If a persons items is at risk and is untouched due to him being legit; I believe it is a plausible reason to give a vouch.

 

Perhaps we could have it where vouches can only be given when the skill trainer would have had access to 10m+ gp and didn't touch it? This could include free skilling too and botted.

 

In the past on various other sites, I make an account level 3 for example and let someone bot skills up from 1, and all they want is a vouch, I wouldn't of cared less if they hacked it...

People should be able to vouch for anyone for any reason, for example I vouched MohtasaUnique because i've known him like 6 years. Although he's never completed a transaction with me, I still trust him and I deem it appropriate to vouch him.

 

no support, the vouch you are getting is to represent you arn't stealing the other persons stuff, which makes you a tad bit more trusted, thats the whole point of vouches. i myelf did a few free services when i started before i started charging..



HOWEVER! i do think if its a free service it MUST be required in the vouch that it was free. as i don't want to trade with a guy who ha 100 vouches he got from doing low-end free stuff, and has never had the chance to steal real money

No support. That person still has been trusted with the account, and probably has bought the bot also. If the person has done a trade for FREE, it should always be stated that they have. Except for with MM'ing, as you always ASSUME unless they are OMM it was for free, and if they are OMM you can trust them anyways.

 

Can't support this. You trust someone with your account anyways, deserves a vouch.

You do realise some have a large amount of support and they still get denied. The admins are the ones that mainly influence this.
