Can the game be beaten?

Since Runescape is nearly infinite, can the game be beaten? If it can't be beaten, technically anyone who logs in loses the game?

 

Just because you beat it doesn't mean you lose >>

Maybe if you max out every skill to 200m xp and finish every quest and aquire 2.147m you've beat the game.

Not trying to be funny, its a serious question.

 

There are so many more things to do then that though, such as minigames.
I think it's impossible to beat the game.

 

Beat every quest, max out every skill, be able to buy everything, kill every monster. Then you win.

 

Max every skill, max of every item, killed every boss played and won mini game and acquired all rewards, then you win the game but you lose at life. Oh an update now you lose at both rs and life.

 

You can't really beat MMO's :\

 

It depends on what you call beaten. For example: Completing every thing in the game could be getting 200mil xp in every skill. Getting maxed rank in every mini game and have 1 of every item.

I beat the game when I got all my stats 70+ then quit since I won.

 

Considering it's not designed to be 'beaten', it comes down to personal goals. If you're goal is for lvl 2 attack, and you get that, you've beaten it. You could also look at it that beating tutorial island, is beating the game, and after beating the game, now you are just 'chilling' by training up your stats etc.

 

You can not beat the game itself, but you can accomplish and beat your goals.

 

You can only beat the game after you have quit playing and don't have the urge to play again.

To win the game you must beat the addiction.

 

No you cannot and JaGeX made it that way so everyone would continue to play forever and ever.

 

MMO's aren't made to be beaten.

 

Like most said, you can't beat MMO's.

You can establish goals for you to achieve and therefore in a sense, you've beaten your "game" in itself.

 

^ Exactly..I don't think RuneScape will ever be possible to beat. With more generations, more skills.
