Stunalching or Alching WHICH IS BETTER? FIND OUT!

I've recently calculated the price for 74-94 mage by alching and stun alching , without any surprise ALCHING costed less but by how much ? Very little:

It takes 105360 Alches from 74-94 Mage.
Assuming you'll be alching Maple longbows (U) ( the generally alched item IMO )
As of July 28th maple longbows (u):
Cost 100GP marketprice
Alch for 192 GP
Nature runes cost: 223 GP each

so

(100 + 223) * 105360 = 34,031,280 GP for the supplies
192 * 105360 = 20,229,120 GP Revenue

34,031,280
-
20,229,120
---------------
13,802,160GP Spent

Assuming you can Alch 1200 Items per hour 105360 items should take: 87.8 Hours or more.

StunAlching

From 74 to 94 Mage It would take:
13690 Alches to Reach 80 ( required level to Stun Alch ) .


13690 * 323 = 4,421,870 GP
13690 * 192 = 2,628,480 GP
4,421,870 - 2,638,480 GP = 1,793,390 GP loss to 80

80-94 StunAlching

From 80-94 You will need around 6M Mage Exp or more precisely: 5,958,546XP.

Gaining around 150K Exp per hour
50K from Alching , 100k from stunning.

6,000,000/ 150,000 = 40 Hours of StunAlching.

The cost:
40 hours of stunAlching is around 40k of Alches + 40k Stuns
Alches:
40,000 * 323 = 12,920,000GP + 1,000,000 for 200K of fire Runes
40,000 * 192 = 7,680,000 GP
13,920,000 - 7,680,000 = 6,240,000GP loss For alches.

Stuns:
40,000 * 208 ( soul rune price ) = 8,320,000 GP For soul runes.
585,200 GP for a Mud staff.

Total cost for stun alching:
6,240,000 GP
+
8,320,000 GP
1,793,390 GP
585,200 GP
----------------
16,938,590 GP Stun Alching.
Over around 40 Hours of Casting.


Comparing:

16,938,590GP
-
13,802,160GP
---------------
3,136,430GP
Only 3.1M GP difference for 40 hours compared to 87 Hours

I think StunAlching will be worth more... Time is money.

If we would go farther we could think of what the StunAcher could do and see if he can make enought money on time to actually save on getting 94.

Assuming you make 250k/per hour (fairly low)
87-40 = 37 Hours

250K * 37 = 9,250,000 RsGP made

In the End Stun Alching is more profitable AND LESS TIME CONSUMING!

Stunalching is the way to go, dude.

There are even very decent free bots that do it for you, as it is rather click intensive. I'm currently stunalching 90-94 mage on my main (90k from 93 atm). Might go on to 99 if I have the time.

Stun is probably more efficient in my opinion. Add my MSN I may be able to give you some tips.

 

Only first heard of stunalching today, but after a bit of research, I would tilt towards Stunalching.

After quickly skimming through your thread, it has come to my attention that you are not botting. You should quit grinding 90+ hours

Just Got 85 Mage Using Stunalching!

 

Stunalching is pretty fine find, I used lunars to get magic up tho, pretty fast too.

Stunalching is the way to go.. I botted around 4 hours a day for 3 days and went from 84 magic to 90 without using sacred clay equipment.

I was averaging around 175k xp/h so its definitely better way to train magic than normal alching.

 

Maybe you should add a guide to the free guides section for stunalching?

 

Nice find here. If i can goldfarm 300k hr In 10 hrs i can make back the diffrence between alching/stunalching. So stunalching is MUCH better. Can anybody direct me towards the stunalcher bot? 99 Magic sounds easy.
