    Need to study for that big exam tomorrow? Or maybe you are just trying to stay up all night with your friends, but always find yourself dozing off? If you follow my guide you will be able to pull my guide off with ease!


    An all nighter Is a common word used when one stays up all night. This is mostly done when kids are in high-school/college, and need to study last minute for those exams. Even though staying up all night really isn't a good thing to day as you will be very tired the next day, it is sometimes necessary to get a good grade on that last subject you have been trying to look over. My guide will tell you some tips on how to stay up all night, but may not always work.


    Step One: Avoid Very sugary drinks! These may seem to work at first but after a few hours the "sugar rush" will end and you will get very sleepy. If you do feel that you have to have a soda though try to find one that is low in sugar like a Diet Coke, because these wont give you the same effects because they have less sugar/caffeine

    Step 2: Try and listen to some music to help you stay up. Almost anything is good as long as it is fairly loud. The only thing I would try to avoid is slow songs as they can actually put you to sleep! Some songs that I would suggest include:
    -Six, All that Remains
    -Animal, Neon trees
    -any techno/dance music

    Step 3: Do not lay down at all. Always keep your body somewhat erect as if you slouch alot or "just rest your eyes for a second" because when you do that most of the time you will end up falling asleep. When trying to stay up all night avoid beds, comfy chairs, couches, because when you sit/lay down you might trick your body into thinking you want to rest and you will get tired, and fall asleep. If you really want to sit down try doing it on something that dosen't have as much cushion, and isn't as comfortable.

    Step 4:Stay active, but also stay on track. If you are studying for a test take breaks and walk around your house a few times to keep the blood flowing, and your mind awake. Some things that you could try doing is walk around the house a few times, or jog in place for a few minutes. If you just sit in one place for a long time it will get boring, and might make you sleepy.

    Step 5:Try a website like tinychat or omegle where you can talk to strangers. These can be alot of fun, and sometimes I will find myself on these until 4am just talking to random people. I would not advise doing this if you are trying to study for a test or anything school related, but If you are just with a friend and want to try and stay up all night get a webcam if you have one, and go meet some new people.

    Step 6:Avoid your phone. I dont know but for some reason every time I start texting other people while trying to pull an all nighter I get very sleepy. If texting keeps you up feel free to do it though.

    Typo. But I like it. Maybe suggest foods that don't cause you to become sleepy (eg. Sugary lollies, chips (These cause you to fall asleep quicker)) Otherwise, I love the guide. Maybe suggest the best drinks that aren't water for keeping you awake? Keep up the good work, I like this guide. 9/10 for originality. 9.99/10 for the typo. Good job! ;)

    Not bad guide, I might use this tonight when my friend stays. I didn't know that sugary drinks, will make you more sleepy in the long run, I thought it was the opposite. Also you could add that you could drink caffeine drinks, like coffee, or eat chocolate even.
    Bit of typo's, such as like alot, it's a lot.
    Not bad guide though.

    Nice guide. Good note on the "just resting for a second", because that is hands down the biggest hazard if you're trying to stay up. You think you'll be more energized if you just let your eyes rest, but it will in reality put you in the mood to sleep. I would add something about bright lighting, since dim lighting relaxes you.

    It's a decent guide however you should use more pictures and a couple of video examples and examples where this might come in handy.

    After having pulled many, I can't say i'de use any of these techniques.

    You should have included the BASICS, being tea and coffee. You should also have a section about prefomance enhancers, illegal or not.

    Pop a caffeine pill - Last around 30 hours.

    Alright guide but could do with a few more things added.

    Like caffeine pills , doing a workout , taking superpump / protein shakes and/or bars help with energy levels as well.

    As well as eating foods like a low GI level (General Intake) - Means the food doesn't just give burst of energy it rises equally and falls equally over a longer period of time.
