Strategy for Boxing? [Staking]

Hi, as many of you here on Sythe know - the alleged, "strategy" of switching attack and defense during a boxing match in the Duel Arena.

Does this really work? Can anybody link me to a page? I have wondered this and after watching Sparc Mac's new video, I'm even more curious.

 

It helps for the most part. As long as you use Block for most of the fight its just normally luck.

So yes switching does techincally work. But it all comes down to who Jagex wants to win that day.

 

In theory it should work but without real confirmation from Jagex you never know.

 

It adds 3 attack levels when you use attack style and 3 defense levels when you use block style. This is leftover from the days of rsc when these effects were visible

 

Yes its worth it too switch. It adds +3 to whatever style you select. You can notice the difference if you switch and the other uses kick or punch.

 

its always been when using att style u get +3 att, str +3str, defensive +3def. nothings changed.

Yeah, but in rsc we usually switches amulets =D

But yeah go login on rsc, attack something and check your combat styles.

 

Even if you do this and the opponent doesn't, usually won't make your chances any higher than about 55%.
