League of Legends Marketplace

I would to suggest for the league of legends marketplace to be created on the front page with other games, perhaps under the World of Warcraft market. It is the largest game in the world right now and things such as elo boosting and account sales are in high demand. In addition to this they are working on a "skin trading" system and trades for RSGP or other currency could be facilitated through our site once that comes out. This would also function in clearing out the "other games section" as it is 80% League of Legends.

I am currently working on ways to increase activity (and trying to get league players here) and general trust in that section. If people have suggestion in that regard please let me know.

These are things that can be sold on League of Legends:

• "Smurfs" -- Bare level 30 accounts
• Old main accounts
• Referal services
• Account leveling services
• "Elo" boosting (huge)
• Positions on high ranked teams
• Rare skins which can no longer be purchased (soon to come)
• "Gifted" skins which may be sold for less than their actual value (soon to come)
• Sale of Riot Point cards or upgrades

Goal: To get a "League of Legends" marketplace added here, or in this general area.

 

Support this so much, League is the biggest F2P game right now and while the market is still a little restricted, it'll be great with skin- and champ-gifting.

Yeah I'd support this, there seems to be sufficient demand for a market to be created.

 

I support this, League of Legends is quickly becoming one of the most played online games and I'm sure many members have League related stuff to sell.

 

I support, because LoL has confirmed that trading limited edition/legacy skins will be quite possible in the future. Not to mention the demand for all the other things you mentioned. Plus I'm in need of RP

But, why make it under the World of Warcraft section?

 

The problem with LoL is that you can't really trade anything except for services like boosting. You can sell accounts, but just like any account sale, they are 90% scams.

EDIT: I must have missed the fact that champion gifting can be used for people who have GP but no Paypal. In that case, it's somewhat more viable, but still maybe just Virtual Currency would be sufficient for this relatively small marketplace?

 

Yeah I personally play LoL and boosting has become a big part of the game, as well as the sale of accounts/lvl 30s. But I think right now its still a bit too early. The separate category could be made but it feels as if it'd be desolate/rarely updated until LoL opens up more and broadens its reach in terms of Cash for Virtual goods (as in more additions to its RP shop/maybe buying items in game etc.)

16 out of 20 of these threads have to do with LoL and it is consistent if not more dense at some times. Just to generalize I think that a game with this much interest, especially with unsuccessful sub-forums like Star Wars, GW2, and ROTMG up there, should be given a chance. Other forums have large LoL black market communities and if this gets out there may be able to bring activity in and maybe even get known for it (though doubtful.)

I've been dealing with more LoL trades while MMing seems active enough, support.

 

Support, I play LoL and it will be very interesting when Skins trading system will arrive.

 

I have been noticing a lot more threads to do with LoL sales lately so I think this would be a great idea. I can think of many things to trade like Riot points cards, Elo boosting, account sales and referral jobs as well as the new trading system coming soon.

 

Support from me I was noticing the trend of the game so ye, a load of people play it im surebsense the eoc it will make the market strive

As a League player myself, I know of many others who also play it and can definitely see a grow in activity in its own marketplace/section.

I'm also certain (from memory) that this has been suggested in the past, which shows the popularity of this game.

 

I suggested it, still have it suggested. It was well supported, but nothing happened. I occasionally bump it.

 

I rescind my criticism. I didn't realize that stuff like ELO meant LoL-related when I browsed Other Games last week.
