Sticky Suggestion in RS 2 General forum.

Well, like the title says, I wanna suggest that a thread in the Runescape 2 General forum get's stickied.
The thread I am talking about is;

For the simple reason;
It seems a popular thread, it has gotten 104 reply's since the thread was posted on 02-21-2012, 4 days ago.

It could be a problem to sticky this if there already were lots of thread's that are stickied, but that's not the case.

It only has 3 sticky's which are;


The only problem I see, it could make the thread less popular because people don't post that much in sticky's, but I have seen lots of sticky's that are ment to post opinions, experiences & thoughts.
So, I don't think that's a big obstacle.

It's a good suggestion.. but I would give it some time.

 

No Support. It is not needed as a sticky. If it is truly popular, it will keep being bumped to the top of the first page.

 

It's an interesting thread, but it mostly stays near the top anyway, so there wouldn't really be a need to sticky it if it's always on the first page anyway.

 

So what you guys are actually saying is that popular threads are on the top anyway, so they don't need to be stickied, but un-popular threads that reach the second page should be?

No support; regardless of it's popularity, stickies are normally for more important things.

You're not being a dick. Yeah that sticky seems pretty quiet, so it's unstickied now.

 

Exactly what he said. I wouldn't support this. If it's truly popular it will stay at the top.

 

That section was flooded with staking threads, so a sticky helps keep that section in order. That's why there's a "Favorite Genre" sticky in the music section, there was a lot of those threads, even if it's inactive, it helps keep the section in order.

It wasn't my goal to get that unstickied, if it helps keeping the section clean, it should stay there.
I was only pointing out what I thought of it, that's all.

 

It really isn't needed.
