Luring Sythe members should be against the rules.

Frankly its retarded that its not. Just my 2 cents. Almost lost 45m.

It shouldn't be allowed. Luring someone is initially scamming. If you get lured while looking for a luring team then I see it as your own negligence.

I distinctly remember the last luring discussion and this came up. If you go back and look I believe it was said by members of the staff that knowingly luring a sythe member is against the rules.

The way I see it is as a whole luring is scamming. If you're looking to lure someone and intentionally scam them then it's your own obligation to both post on this thread http://www.sythe.org/runescape-2007-general/1625403-only-find-luring-partner-here.html and be wise about who you team up with. I'll include that this report was for an attempted lure, not a lure that actually took place.

 

If that is the case, the rule should be clarified and added to the list of official rules. I also wouldn't be opposed to opening a discussion on the legitimacy of luring. I know that it is against the rules of RuneScape, but not Sythe, at least, at the moment. I do feel like luring is a form of scamming. You can get banned on Sythe for scamming on RuneScape, but not luring? Seems like users can get away with a form of scamming by just saying "it's a part of the game."

Yeah I made a thread about this back in the day and seem to remember this being the case.

I certainly believe it should be against the rules as its scamming plain and simple. Be prepared for the "its a mechanic of the game" speech OP.

Ever since viou confessed and probably a large percent of the gold traders selling stolen/scammed or immorally obtained RSGP, to the fact that sythe is built around cheating on RS. Please ride your moral high horse elsewhere.
