Steam/CSGO Question

Hi guys, the message below is old, and I had another question to add. I am now 44 exp off of level 5 from completing the community badges, being a member for a while, and owning some games. I have 4/8 badges for one game but can't get any more because I can't use the marketplace for another 30 days. Is there any way I can get 44 more exp given my restrictions? Besides buying like 15 games for the exp (I believe they give 3 each).

I've never used steam much but I currently have some stuff that I want to sell on opskins or another similar website. In order to sign up it says that I need to be steam level 5. I'm currently level 2 and have exp from owning 2 games and being a 3 year member. I've tried reading guides but I haven't used steam in about 2 years and they confuse the heck out of me. Was wondering if anyone could explain to me the easiest way to get to level 5 and any other info you may have about selling steam items. It says I currently have to wait another 30 days in order to use the steam market for whatever reason.

Buy cards, and then craft badges. You'll get 100XP from crafting a badge, which is basically 1-2 levels worth of EXP (at your level anyway).

Find badges that are cheap to craft, the cards should only be worth a few mere cents. There are sites that you can use to find cheap cards/badges to craft to get the levels you need without spending too much.

Also, check out YT. There are plenty of guides there if you're confused.

 

This. Also complete the community badge as well, for extra XP. Just make sure you're market ready to go, then just buy cards, craft them into badges, 2-3 badges and you'll be Level 5.

Completing the community badge will also net like 200 XP I think. Only takes like 10 minutes to complete.

 

Community Leader will give you 500 XP
You only have to complete some community tasks, like comment a profile, link phone number etc.

If you have about a dollar or two, just buy cards from games that are mainstream. (CSGO, GMod, etc). They are usually about 5 cents each.

Have you crafted the Gem Maker badge? All you need to do is get one of your trading cards in the inventory and convert it to gems, thus receiving the badge. Try it if you don't have it, not sure how much XP it gives though.
