Starting gfx

I'd just like to say that I had a similiar thread in the IRC lounge, and now everything is going swimmingly for me. So all advice is greatly appreciated as I would like to start gfx.

I'd like if people just left help, links to programs etc to help me start.

You should look up different kinds of tutorials, to gain knowledge even styles you don't even like, just for the sake of knowing many things.

One term that you should learn is blending.

 

Agreed, so many sig makers (including myself) have trouble with that.

 

This will help you if you will like to add C4D to your sig and tells you know to blend it and start off.

GL GFX is fun stuff but it gets frustrating at times. Other times its boring but most of us really like it. All the advice i got for you is to go to www.DeviantArt.com for brushes and fonts. www.planetrenders.com or gamerenders.com for your renders and just ask around the forums for more help. there are alot of really good GFXers around. Verts has a key+serial. O shit. I cant figure out how keygens work.
