70/80 or 75/75?

I'm making a tank hybrid and I cant decide what to do. Should I get 70 strength and 80 attack or get 75 in both? I wanna stay ranged/mage based too.

With 70/80 I can use chaotics, train slayer efficiently(not that I enjoy slayer), get charms at waterfiends for 99 summoning, which I will be getting eventually.
But I'll have to dung for 20-24 hours in order to obtain both rapier and maul. Not that I hate dungeoneering, I can key sub 25s easily but the chaotics will be expensive to maintain

With 75/75, I wouldnt have to bother to recharge chaotics but getting crims will be a pain. A higher str will improve the def exp I get p/h and I can wield a SoL for bursts.

Whats your opinion?

 

70/80 what my opinion is also have you even started the account if so please post pictures I'd like to see progress and what your doing etc I might start one my self

I would keep at 75 attack until you actually feel that you need a rapier/maul for training.

 

have you bought chaotics yet? if you havnt then use the tokens on something else and keep str as high as possible. if you have the chaotics i'd just stick with what you got

 

I dont really need help dunging, I key/dung for/with multiple 138's. I'll keep you in mind if I ever need someone to fill the party.

I feel the need of a rapier for slayer and a maul for wf's for summoning.

I've spent several tokens on various things. Getting tokens isint a problem atm.

 

Why wouldn't you use rock lobs for charms? Don't you realize how horrible waterfiends are with 70 strength? You'd probably get even more charms by ranging them. Just stay as low strength and attack as possible.

75/75 is fine. Burst/barrage the charms and rl > waterfiends

I would say 70/80 considering that having higher strength than attack is an advantage according to maximum hits.

 

That account is kind of failed at the moment. I would suggest getting 75 defence and stay as dragonfire shield pure. Or get 78 defence for statius/vestas pure. Regarding attack, keep it at 75 till you get 99 str

 

Failed? I'm going for 99 summoning, mage, defence, ranged, constitution(in this order) and 74 prayer. If you think this account is failed, maybe you should learn about the concept of a tank.

 

I would personally stay 75 in both.
