starter sig

hi, this is my first home made signature, and i was wondering if anybody could give me a heads up on a few things:

1) how to add text to a paint image, as when i tried on paint it had a massive white box, and on word i couldnt save as a image, so i had to print then scan in

2) whether i need new software, at the moment i only have paint etc, the basic gear computers come with

3) how to make animated gifs

1.) You cant do that in paint.
2.) You cant make sigs in paint, you need at least paint.net or photoshop.
3.) You need adobe products such as photoshop or aftereffects.

On the sig,...im sorry to sail its very fail, get photoshop because until then i cant even rate it.

 

ok, can some1 give me any idea how to get a free non virused and legal decent photoshop kind of thing?

 

gimp, is only free legal =/
but who cares about legality, go torrent photoshop
