RS Name Switching

I have a name that i'm trying to switch to a new build of mine, can someone explain me the process? (quickest possible way using bonds or whatever if I have too)

 

If the name is eligible for changing, have two different web browsers open with both minimized. Make sure you're logged into both, ready to change the name. Pretype the username you want to switch to on your new build, and simply click the button to change the name as fast as possible after releasing it.

I'm not sure of any other faster method, but I'd wait it out for more replies regarding this.

 

this is the exact method i've used to transfer around 4 bought names to diff pures of mine.

So change my name now to anything, then when I can get another name change (could use a bond to avoid 30 day wait time?) then when I change it to something that wasn't my previous name, then that name becomes available and i'm able to take it on my new account?

 

Yes, you could use a bond to remove the wait time. Once you change it a second time, the name you want to transfer will be available for you to take on your other account, so long as your other account is eligible for a name change.

Change the name twice. The second time you change the name, the original name will be available. Snag it quickly.

 

It makes the more sense to use bonds IMO. First use a bond for membership and change the account name you're looking to transfer let's say change the name to Bob323. Then buy a bond, apply it to transfer the name, and again change the name to Bob323. The lock on the name you're looking to transfer is released and you're able to do it immediately.

 

Yeah, especially if you're in a hurry to get the name off, it'll cost like 15.00~ but it'll remove 30 days of waiting

 

I just did a transfer but originally bought membership a few days ago at the $7.95 price then paid $5 today for a bond to do the transfer. If you just do two bonds (one for new membership on the account also allows for a name change) and then another bond for the second name change, it's $10 allocated to the name being transferred. Unless you're considering a bond for the account being transferred to as well if it doesn't have membership- that's $15 / I may just be misreading.
