Pure idea

This is my idea for a Rune pure. How would it go do you think...

Attack - 70
Strength - 99
Defence - 40
Ranged - 70
Magic - 60
Prayer - 1

 

I'm assuming you're going to do a whip - dds combo? If so, you're going to fail hard. Your combat level would be over 80 with those stats, other people would be maxed pures and/or range tanks... no chance without prayer / vengeance to KO.

A ranged tank is basically an account with high defense, ranged, and HP.

 

I'd suggest 43 prayer, unless you decide to only f2p pk. Also, if you plan on doing members pking, you NEED veng...94 mage.

 

Those stats will likely bring your combat up pretty high, so its almost certain you will need prayer. Having 1 prayer is useless these days as prayer is extremely important for most types of pures/PvP accounts.

Also, there is really no point in having 60 magic... thats just silly actually. You could easily get 99 magic (or atleast 94) without raising any combat, and vengeance is pretty much essential to edgeville PKing. It would also be a good idea to get 99 ranged aswell and take the few extra HP levels. It won't effect your combat too much, and 99 ranged is very, very useful these days and gives you alot more freedom in your PKing. If you absolutely don't want the HP levels from training ranged past 70, you could always do SoulWars and collect zeal, or do Pest Control and spend your points on magic.
