[DENIED] Staff Team(CDT/PR/Mods)Required Verification by Sythe to join

Suggesting that any staff member (CDT, PR,Mods ?OMM?) require verified ?Address? Phone number?Identity+pic? to join. Giving members positions of power gives them a sign of "trust" despite being intended or not. Doing this will prevent possible scammers/scams for occurring.

Bolt and Ex being two of the cases that may not have happened if so.

 

We know all of Bolt and Ex's irl details, I don't see this being effective. Same nature as someone who goes into a livechat and submits their ID, those sites still incur chargebacks. If a person wants to SQ they will.

No support, unless you can provide proof of their ranks being abused? They might've been part of said teams while scamming - but that's not where the problem lays.

 

It wouldn't make any difference at all, if someone wanted to join a team/staff for the reason to scam, they would most likely just commit identity fraud while they're at it.

 

Free market, no support. We can only do so much to prevent scamming, and I think this would disencourage joining a team. It’d do more harm then good.

 

This is a major invasion of privacy for those who just want to help the community. I trust our teams to use their judgement prior to voting someone in. Of course, people with the intention to scam will scam regardless and there is nothing we can do about that.
