how often do bans happen to smart scar users

i have main character i want to auto with for a few hours a day. and i was wondering is it a mater of time until you get banned or is it possible it will never happen.?

 

Since I learned to script, about four months ago, I have never been banned. It all has to do with what script you use, how much you use it, and if you use it correctly.

 

if you auto for only a few hours a day, and the script is good enough, then you should be fine.

 

Ive been macroing for about 6 months and havent had a single ban.. So i dont think that u get banned easily if ur a "smart SCAR user"

yea.. the odds of getting banned is slim because SCAR is mostly undetectable..

 

Hmm, i havn't heard of anyone getting banned by scar. It does happen obviously but rarely i guess =/

 

ive autoed with scar for about 1 month and got no bans or black marks.

 

I got banned using a bad script, so depend on the script.

From my experience, I think Jagex really only bans those who macro for days at a time and just hoard the crap outta the game's resources. Generally, I would say that macroing for a maximum period of about 6-8 hours for every 18 hours would be best, per account. Some of the best scripts I've seen would start off with support for 10 accounts and run constantly, changing characters every few hours.

i have been banned on one of my mains for autoing, but i ran scar for 3 days straight and went from level 80 to level 101 inthat time, two weeks later they banned me for autoing, it is safe to auto, just auto smart,(i was trying to check sability for the script i was running, turns out it was way stable, i just ran it for too long)

 

yah if you are a "smart scar user u shouldnt get banned at all.

i use smart scar where it is minimizable and i just got that version where its minimizable and i ran it for 36 hours one day..took a break over night and ran it for 29 hours and no bans

 

i use hy's fight cave macro 8 hours a day on my rune pure and have for several weeks but on the other hand my range pure was banned after about a week and i trained it while at school. it probably depends on how old the account is/ how many different tasks its doing

 

jones you do not have enough fact to support your theory.
its possible you didnt get reported with your rune pure and you did with you ranger.

8 hours a day also is a lot Try to limit as much as you can

I would say even though it is able to be minimized, i would watch it on the side of the screen or check every X mins
