    Banning Techniques

I run RS on a second computer while I work (IT Support), and can easily address all of the randoms when they occur. I use a simple key record macro to do repetitive tasks like moving the mouse every 15 seconds so I don't get logged out.

Does anybody know what features RS uses to decide if you are autoing?

Is it just the random events that tell them?
Do they track your movement repetition?

    Regards.

Well, for example. Jagex has a part of their code, that monitors things like:

the same walking patterns, people reporting, or clicking on the same coordinate, etc.

HOW LONG YOU ARE ON DOES NOT MATTER. I HAD AN ACC LOGGED ON FOR 49 HOURS STRAIT WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING.

    Lies.
    1) After 3 hours of consecutive RS, some person conducted a few tests and found that randoms are more common in hours 3-6 than in hours 0-3.
    2) RuneScape has an auto-logoff feature that activates every 6 hours; you can NOT be on for 6 hours straight without getting logged off.
    3) There is a minor system update every 24 hours. EVERY 24 hours. This, you are guaranteed to get logged off for.

    Yes, I suspected this.
Does anybody know exactly what you need to do to get banned?
It does seem like ramdons pop up more frequently when I you an autoer, or the fishing spots change more frequently...sucks.

^^ The minor updates don't always logg you out. Also Jagex woun't assume your autoing if your on for 40 hours. They will probably just monitor your account closely.

    Sooo...to clarify...

If I make my script so the movements use a randomized pattern, then I should be fine?

I can run the program on a second PC right next to my work station during the day, so should be able to address all of the random events manually.

I'm getting really sick of being auto logged out while fishing :-(

Random mouse movements, time, and position for all clicks also perhaps an auto talker then it will be fine.

I can't see how the auto-talker would matter, just turn off the chat option.
They can't ban you for not chatting...lol...

    Thanks for the tips.

All aside, the more anti-Ban functions you have the better your chances are of getting away with autoing.

but keep in mind, there is a line.. too much anti-ban can make a ban even more possible.

What I used to do was video myself playing, or watch other people play, and see how they did it, and made my macro's use antiban based on what normal poeple do.

Just auto less than 10hours a day and use a reasonable break handler with good settings. regular breaks etc.
