    Requesting a Pardon -Trent!

Hello all. I, Trent!, am making a dispute for myself to ask for a pardon regarding the signature violations I have accumulated.

    Here are the violations:

    I understand Rule #2
"2. You must dispute your ban/infraction within one month it was given. After one month, the ban/infraction will not be reversed, and the dispute will be denied."

However I spoke with Corey and he told me I should still post the thread:

So, as you can see, the final signature violation was in November of 2011. It is now the beginning of 2013, and I can honestly say that there have been very large positive changes in me over the last year.

I understand that I was in violation of the signature rules. I was relatively new to the forum environment when I received my first violation, and didn't realize there was a set of rules for this kind of thing. Now, please understand I am NOT justifying my behavior, nor am I saying that it makes it acceptable. I am merely trying to explain the mistakes I made, and how I have learned from each one. Another time I did not realize that text counted towards signature size. I should have realized this, and it does not justify the actions. However, I can definitely say that I am now 100% clear on signature rules, such as the size limit. Even off of memory I now know that it is 650 pixels in width and 350 pixels in height; including text, pictures, and anything else. I made mistakes I'm not proud of, and I was angry and argumentative with the Sythe Staff Team back then. I realize how ridiculous I was back then and I would like to sincerely apologize for my disrespect. I have grown in maturity, patience, understanding, and respect for authority and their decisions.

Some of you here know I was a Forum Moderator over at Robotz in Disguise; I know the basic process of cleaning up the forums and making sure it is as proper as possible. I was demoted in August of 2012; around the same time as my last infraction here (of any type). It was because my behavior and attitude was not appropriate for a Staff member; however I was told if I showed I have grown, shown I have learned from my mistakes, that I can respect authority and deserve respect in return, that if I prove that I can be moderator material; showing all of the mature behaviors, et cetera, I could be promoted again. I have been promoted to a moderator position again in the past couple months, and I have had many compliments from the administrator and other members as to the improvement in my behavior.

Now, the point of the above paragraph is to allow you understand that I was not in a good place in the past, and that I have grown immensely since then. I am capable of learning from my mistakes; I know how annoying it can be when users break rules, even more so when they break the same rule repeatedly, and I have deep remorse for any and all inconveniences I have caused by breaking these rules. I deeply and sincerely apologize for my behavior.

I understand that me not being aware that certain things are against the rules or misunderstanding a rule does not make it acceptable. I may have made mistakes in the past, but I have definitely learned my lesson, learned how to prevent anything like this in the future, and am 100% clear on what kind of signatures are acceptable.

So what I plea to you all, is to give me the opportunity to prove this to you. I'm even fine with leaving 3/4 of the violations and putting me in a situation where I would never ever be allowed to use a signature again if I failed. I don't say that as asking for a last chance, I say that to confirm my confidence that this will never be a problem again. These offenses were from 2011, and it now being the beginning of 2013, I have had much time to reflect and become a better, rule-abiding forum user. I love the diversity of this forum and I hate causing harm to it through breaking rules.

I appreciate the time you all spend going over my request. I understand that you all have the right to make your own decision, and that you reserve the right to decline my pardon. I would be extraordinarily grateful if a pardon was agreed upon, and I know I will not disappoint you!

To show you all that I now understand the rules regarding signatures, and I am very clear with what is allowed, I have prepared an example that reflects this:
