Could anyone give me some insight as to what to expect? 2 juniors said I was perfect for it.
    I'm about 5'4 at 17% bf at 118 pds.
Also should I try to gain more muscle? If so now? I have all the p90x tapes and workoit schedule for it.
    Also I'm 15.

well idk where you live but for me my high school season is about over unless your in a private leauge or club. depending on your school and coach you should expect very hard work and mental fatiuge (along with muscle fatiuge). you being a freshmen that would be good year to start insted of a upper classmen and I would recomend losing some BF just so you can maybe be 113. Currently my state allows wrestlers to have a minimum of 7% BF which would make u about 110. cutting does suck but its a part of wrestling if you want to be good. any additional questions or anythig jus info m bro. good luck with ur decision

Your size is fine, concentrate on your cardio. Remember, it takes determination and hard work to excel in wrestling.

I started wrestling when I was a freshmen and I got my ass kicked. I worked hard off season and I'm kicking ass now and I'll be dominating my senior year. If you want to excel in wrestling you need to have good cardio, mental strength, and you need to wrestle in the off season. Cutting weight will definitely help if you're going to a lower weight class but it really does suck and isn't very healthy to do. Concentrate on trying to find some moves you like and perfect them. My idea moves are, a low inside single leg take down, headlock to a gator roll, standing peterson, guillotine, and a couple others . Just figure out what you're good at and make it work for you.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me!

Well once wrestling starts your going to be losing natural weight. If you choose to, you can cut weight by just not eating the day before/day off a match and running to lose water weight. You're able to easily drop 4 pounds of water weight with just like 2 hours of running.

If you're not wrestling now and you want to lose it for when wrestling starts then just eat healthy and exercise.

Throughout the summer run a few miles every day, you will loose it, then durring the season a three days before a meet limit meals and run in sweats for two hours a day.
