Spoiler tags

I think Sythe should implement [spoiler] tags.

[spoiler=You write the title here]
And you write whatever you'd like inside the box here. They're exactly as easy to write as quote tags.
[/spoiler]​

As an example, part of the Rules page might be presented this way.

I've edited the typical spoiler code to allow custom titles, adjust to Sythe's color scheme, etc.

I would love this because I am an active member of the GFX section and it would help keep our threads organized and cleaner.

 

Shoot. What sort of exploit was it? If it caused cosmetic then infractions might be okay. If it was malicious it obviously isn't worth the trouble.

Ah. I'm surprised that's possible. It seems like quotes would have the same structure; what sets the two apart?

 

This would be awesome! They're on alot of other forums, and are very useful.

 

If there was some way to work around the problem, then I would definitely support the addition. I think they would benefit a lot of people in the GFX section, and help keep other threads organized as well.

Due to the redirections and possible hacking/java drive-by's, I am not in support of this unless that "kink" can be worked out.

This statement changed my mind from when i read the thread title because i supported it at first.

I'd like it, but also more details on what the exploit involved. Was it made so that clicking the Show button sent you to another site?

 

If we can work out a way to work around the exploits, it will be re-added :3
