Clean up/Make rules - "Where Did [Name Here] Go?"

Make some rules and actively infract people who are breaking them.
Especially in these situations it's pretty much used for conversations about the users...

As of now it's all just pretty much flaming about Louis and other recently banned mods.

3 globals, 2 sectionals banned in the last week or so? 3 or 4? for scamming 1 for vading and you wonder why? If it was anywhere else it would be locked, leave it to that thread (as it does have some relevance to the thread title in a way) or allow it in the spam forum.

 

I feel that members should be allowed to vent at least in one or two places. At the same time, I support a clean-up after the heat as worn off.

I agree, but if its going to be allowed.. face it, it's going to happen whether you want it to or not, always has always will.. then put it in a thread where its easily monitored.

 

Venting off in sythe in unnecessary though. It only pisses off even more people and starts things like what you see in that thread now.
I agree with the suggestion though. Step it up, mods, please.

 

Its basically just a ban discussion thread. People tell the reason someone was banned and then a page long conversation goes on, I think there should be a rule that if you don't make a post with a ban reason in it or asking if someones banned then it gets infracted.

 

I would gladly accept infractions for my "off-topic" posts in that thread. It helps me vent and let's face it, there are no other interesting "where did [name here] go" people to talk about seeing that 5 mods just got banned

needs to be done sometimes it just turns into a flame fest and people should be infracted for asking why people are banned when its clearly been answered 1-2 pages before their post.

 

They should make another sticky "Discussions about where did [Name Here] go" underneath, or in the spam forum with a link to it in to OP and infract violators.

 

there is meant to be no ban discussion so that wouldn've be implemented, or i wouldn't have thought so.

 

I believe Govind locked the thread a while ago because of the banned user discussion. I think it's okay as it is for now, the heat has almost worn off. Besides, where else are users going to vent out after reading that so many moderators have just gotten banned?
