[Introduction]​

Welcome to my guide on how to effectively make a DDS/Dragon Scimitar Pure! Here you will learn the techniques on how to effeciently raise your mage, do quests, and train. You may wonder how could a level 60 could hit a 25. I will teach you how to create a effecient pure. Please read fully!

These are the stats you want:
Attack: 60
Strength: 70+
Defence: 1
Range: 1 or 70 (It won't really matter so...)
Magic: 45 or 60 (60 for Flames of Zammy)
Agility: 35+
Woodcutting: 35 (for Lost City Quest)

<=[Raise Mage first! Always!]=>​

Don't just go off to varrock, get supplies, and train melee!! You must raise your mage without hitpoints! This is an important step to make your pure!

1. Try to get about 5000 Body Runes and 10,000 waters.

2. Get to level 3 magic with your tutorial runes and wield your earth staff. Wear full iron also! (This will help you, on purpose, miss and get faster experience with cursing spells.

3. Travel your way to the Varrock Palace and under the first stairs is a Monk Of Zammy.

Your done with the boring cursing runes and it's time for quests! Doesn't it sound like fun? Lol. Do these quests so you can get attack levels and strength as well.
You want attack strength boosters so o these quests:

• Vampire Slayer (Attack Booster)
• Death Plateau (Attack Booster and Climbing Boots)
• Tree Gmone Village (Attack Booster and required for Monkey Madness)
• The Grand Tree (Attack Booster and required for Monkey Madness)
• Waterfall Quest (Strength and Attack Booster)
• Fight Arena (Attack Booster)
• Recipe For Disaster (Mithril Gloves. You can wear at 1 defence!)
  Note: Only do Dwarf, Goblin Generals, Pirate Pete, Evil Dave, and Skrach Uglogwee sub-quests

Once your done with the quests, it's time to train. You want to go to 60 attack and 60 strength.

At your level, you should only train at rock crabs. They are VERY excellent experience.
Just set a goal and try not to train all day. Just be a normal person that eats, sleeps, and go to school.
If you plan on train range, I wouldn't do it if I were you. Black D Hide won't save you from not getting hitted 0s. You're gonna get hit more of meleers! There's about 8/10 of the wild composed of melee pures!

<=[Lost City And Monkey Madness]=>​

Lost City is probably the easiest quest I've ever done in members. All you do is just kill the Tree Spirit, and don't forget to bring a teleport when you finish the quest.

I have done Monkey Madness with only 1 prayer and defence.

Now, you finished that quest, it's time for the cool quest! Be sure you have 200k to spend on this puzzle because it took me forever! Have at least 10 super energy potions, 10 super anti-poison potions, 100 sharks, and 20 teleports back to varrock. This quest will cost you about, hmm, 400k? Yes, it's expensive, but do you want a better weapon than a stupid dragon long?! Just bring a DDS to Knockout (KO) the final boss.

My tip to defeat the final boss is to hide behind the square bridges; when the gmones get the demon to low health. And then come out, special him with your DDS.

What to bring?​

• Dragon Scimitar or DDS or Gmaul of your choice
• Strength Amulet
• Full Monk
• Two recoils (1 wielded. 1 incase it disentagrates)
• Full Pure Set (Super Strength and Super Attack Potion)
• Prayer Potion *if you have prayer*
• Climbing Boots
• The rest is sharks

If you're new to Members PKing you should do the following:

1. Drink Potions
2. Set Prayers
3. Dragon Scimitar him to 1/2 health.
4. Take out your G Maul or DDS and special the opponent.
5. Repeat
6. Put on Melee Protection when *enemy killed*, if you have 43 prayer. (you don't want pures to pj you with DDS.)

Don't just waste your DDS or G Maul specials on your enemy first. Just get 'em to low health.

rangers still own themm i have a dds pure not the greatest when rangers hit 17 rapid :/

Hitpoints are good so I don't see aný point to not train.

 

pretty decent guide, i noticed a spelling error at the end u sed put on melee prayer if u had it and sed 41 prayer not 43 prayer

I could hit 25s with D scimmy and 21s specials with DDS. 28s with G maul idk? That's 25+21+21 which is 67 hits.

great guide, very decriptive. but its made up of stuff most people already know

 

at lvl 65 rangers hit like 17+ alot but i hit like 27s on my melee pure and 26s spec with dds
