Should I try Graves or Kog?

I've been playing ADC more than ever, since jungle just got boring.

I literally take a shit on every adc when playing Draven or Vayne, but thought may as well try another ADC.

I'm deciding between Graves or Kog, which do you guys reckon is a better buy?

 

Kog stomps late but is weak early in lane. Graves is a great lane bully aswell as quite beefy and can burst decently high if played correctly.

 

Graves doesn't seem to be played much in this meta/season. He's strong in lane phase but kog is way better in late. Imo Kog is one of the best late carries.

 

Graves is more fun, Kog is a very squishy early game champion who hard carries late

kog isn't that great early put his passive more then makes up for that

IMO both are great but i would go for kog, purely cause late game kog will devour graves 90% of the time

 

Depends a lot on if you want to play solo queue or in a team setting. Graves is probably a stronger solo queue pick as he is able to get kills and really make an impact by himself.

On the other hand, kog is fairly weak without the proper team composition but can shine if it's correct.

 

Graves burst is amazing..

 

By the way, if you haven't bought anyone yet, Graves is free this week You should definitely go ahead and try him!

 

I personally prefer Graves over Kog, but that could be because I never really play Kog..

 

Kog is more fun than graves! Are you kidding me with graves is more fun? lol kog spits a ball of acid, changes skin and color for super long range, and his ult drops an acid bomb that's annoying as hell. Kog sees a tank and he's like lol bye bye your damage and if somehow the other play hacks and cheats and manages to kill you, a ghost kog runs into him for an explosion securing the kill!

Are you playing ranked or just solo que? They are both strong in different situations, but Kog is a late game carry. He needs a ton of farm to be an impact in the late game, but graves can easily bully the enemy out of lane early/mid game.

 

Yeah. I tried em both on my friends account, decided to get graves.

 

Why Graves?

 

Graves is better imo, he has a nice burst early while kog is better late and very squishy early with no escape.

 

Kog is hard to use you need to make it to late game without losing then he becomes a hyper carry (like Vayne) so if you have skills in lane he is nice but he is more of a niche pick if they have a lot of tanks where Graves is decent at everything has very little he is bad at.

 

Graves suited my play style of balls deep more.
