Hacked from Upgrade

Ok this might seem ridiculous but just hear me out. I have never had problems with being hacked. I have never downloaded any fake runescape programs or anything that could be keylogged. I have 3 accounts and I play them all about an equal amount on the same computer (skiller, main, and pure). A recently purchased an upgrade from some on this site via pin. I never gave him my pass or anything I just paid him and he sent me the PIN code. The next day, I found that same account in lumby with an empty bank but the password had not been changed. I am the only one with access to my computer.

Is there anyway that he could have somehow used the pin to gain access to my account?

 

Did he sent you the pin in a file or he just told it to you via MSN or something like a chat?

Not possible just from that. Especially if he didnt know your username.

You didn't get hacked from the upgrade.

Ok guys thanks for helping me clear that up, and no he didn't send a file or anything. I guess the only plausible cause then is powerbot, as Chaos669 mentioned. The strange thing tho is that the account that got hacked was my least valuable one and I didn't use RSBot V.222 which was the infected one or the new fake V.226 which is also infected. Can anyone offer any other insight to being hacked by RSBot?

 

they have had a break out, just recover your account and move on :/ best you can do

 

everyone who gets hacked always says they havent downloaded anything still they get hacked

yea i had to agree,u might be using bot,i was hacked 30mil off using bot too,but well i still continue to use rsbots.net as they r the most trusted 1 and not other bot

Just stop using powerbot, don't you understand?

 

You cannot get hacked by someone giving you a PIN. You use the same password on other sites then Runescape?

Always keep your passwords on other sites seperate from each individual game/website.

Also.. scan your pc for infections.
