Spamming Warning - (Not sure where to post this)

Back in September I received a spamming warning from @Killswitch for the replying to someone with the following:

    "Dear TAESC,

You have received a warning for spamming.

Related Post or Message (if applicable):
    Title:
Need Firecape done on a low level zerk
    Content:

Needing someone to do my firecape on my low level; zerk, currently has 53 range training to 61 but if anyone can actually do it on 53 hit me up on skype:)
    Sent PM"

I was told this warning lasts a month, yet the warning remains on my account?

Is this supposed to be a permanent black mark on my account or what?

And if so, should I be reporting each and every other people's comparable spam like shit for comparable black marks on their accounts (quite easy to do this for my competitors, although obviously highly obnoxious).

Let me know exactly what the position is regarding this. I will be very interested to see what direction this goes.

Spamming Warning - (Not sure where to post this)

I've moved this thread over here as I deem it's the correct section.

It does last a month as it says on the warning. Once a month has gone by since the warning has been given, then it won't appear anymore (as you can see here). Only staff have access to see your warning history (all of the warnings you've been given in the past), and I'm pretty inclined to believe that we have that in order to assess your punishment based on if this is a re-occurring issue, or just an accident (could be wrong though). Basically if you accumulate 5 active points at any given time, you will be banned for 3 days. If you accumulate 7 active points, you will be banned for 7 days. Several temporary bans will result in a permanent ban. Active points refer to points that haven't expired yet.

If you see spam, then report the post using the "Report" tool on the top right corner of the post. I don't recommend witch hunting people, however you're allowed to report it (spam) as you see it. If it applies to false advertising rather than spam, then you're not allowed to as it goes against this rule (seen here).
