Explanation of the trade: In game gold currency in exchange for Kiln Cape services

How they scammed: We made contact via the Discord listed in his Sythe profile and our arrangements were made there for the exchange. Upon giving him my login information to complete the service he logged in and removed all of my items and gold and my character was relocated to the Lumbridge bank. I tried to message him again on discord after my discovery and he had blocked me.

Yet further down his page the discord is shown in all caps..? I PM'd the one with the matching photo to his Sythe account. Must have over looked the PM request noted in the sythe account. Guess I'm just screwed then. Feel free to close this I guess. Bye bye 2 bil i suppose.

 

If he is advertising the wrong Discord tag, it needs to be dealt with. Please update this report with the correct format, so we can look into it.

1. "franko#8727" is not my discord tag "Franko#8727" is my discord tag as seen in my signature, Discord tags are case sensetive and this should be known by now.
2. I have never pmed you with my Sythe account, which means you've never had a confirmation.

I suggest you edit the discord tag you have further down your profile then to avoid future issues. That one shows to be in all caps. I had to type it a couple different ways to get a match (The one I messaged matches your profile photo on Sythe hence I went with it.) My fault on not using the Sythe PM correctly. I'm struggling to even operate this page much less even properly add image links to this.

 

Photo links seem to be functioning now with Gyazo.

 

I'm sorry @Apfehr - You were scammed by an impostor. This is why we highly suggest a confirmation PM before trading ANYONE on Discord. An example can be found here: Verify the user you are speaking with before trading!

As mentioned @Franko - Your thread graphics does advertise the wrong Discord, so you will be given a TWC for one month because of this (A note to all discord traders). This report will remain open until the graphics have been changed or taken down.

 

Ok. The guy CLEARLY has his discord listed incorrectly in his ad. I'll go ahead and post it for you since you seem to have missed it.

To clarify - I did not open up his profile prior to placing the order with said impostor as I'm far from familiar with your website or forums in general. I googled "Kiln cape services" and is advertisement popped up with THE ABOVE ad ([130+Vouches] Franko's All In One RS3 PvM Service! | Warden Title | Kiln Capes | SOLAK Kills & More!) that I screen-shotted. Had this not had it incorrectly formatted in his ad then this would NEVER have been an issue to begin with. I had to try a few different variants of his discord before finding a matching photo on discord and sythe. Though it may have been an impostor.. from what I have seen on your website - those who incorrectly advertise their discords are to be held accountable, no?

Alright, so here you are saying you added Franko on Discord with all caps? Which means you should of added "FRANKO#8727" but...


Yes, the signature looks like it was written in full caps but the discord in full caps doesn't even exist and as you can see in signatures he added a discord without ANY capital letters which means he din't even follow the thread layout at all anyways.
Yes, it is a mistake but it's the font which was used for my thread layout which does not support any capital letters.
Also if you read my signature it says never do a trade without a pm request so I don't understand how I get punished for this in anyway at all.

@Franko you've openly admitted to having a post with an incorrectly advertised discord tag. Had this not been the case this wouldn't have happened. So yes... absolutely you should be held accountable per sythe's rules I've read.

 

Also, this might be offtopic a bit but I wonder why you paid 110M per kiln instead of the listed 100M but whatever, I'll fix my thread layout ASAP to get this case closed and over with.

The next and only post of me will be me confirming thread layout has been edited.

 

10m. Wasn't going to fight about 10m with over 2b worth of shit on the account... Prices change. Shit happens. However - case isn't closed as far as I'm concerned. @Pendulum or WHATEVER admin needs to hold him accountable for admittedly having the incorrect discord tag listed. Thought he may not be a scammer... The incorrect posting sure as hell contributed to me being scammed.

@Apfehr - Wrong ID listed or not, Discord has many bugs on it that require a confirmation PM to be made in order to confirm who you are trading with. Once again, I am sorry that this happened but you need to review the threads I listed above so that this doesn't happen again. Always request a Sythe PM before you trade anyone on Discord.
