Introduction - Hey, this is my fifth guide so far. This will be one of my last before I finish my Application. I've seen this guide before and I just thought I would be able to do it again but much better. I'm not ripping, I'm simply carrying on an idea I thought was alright for a guide and improving it at the same time.

In this guide I will tell you ways to become a very good citizen through-out your town/country, etc. Some ways would be donating to charity, helping out around your town (community work) and much more. I will try to go into as much depth as I can into each subject I talk about to make it easier to understand and I'll get a better rating, lol.

Anyway, enough information about the guide. I'm in a little bit of a hurry so I'm trying to finish off this guide before I head out. Sorry if I make any spelling mistakes or anything. I've not got long and I'm trying to fit as much information into this guide with the time I've got. So yeah, I better shut up and get onto the actually guide.

Why would you want to be a good citizen? Well, the question should be why wouldn't you want to be a good citizen. Who wouldn't want to improve there social life and make it so people would maybe look up to you. Being a good citizen is a very good way of also meeting new people and can make you appeal much more friendly.

By being a good citizen your showing that your giving your bit and showing that you do care about the many things going on in the world. It's showing your helpful, kind, not greedy, etc. For people who think they should be given an award are also wrong. Actually, you are getting an award, the award of knowing your a good person.

Out of all the good deeds you could ever do, donating to charity has got to be one of the kindest things ever. What could be more heart-warming then knowing you could be saving peoples/animals lives all over the world? In my opinion, I've got to say nothing. Bellow is a list of things you'll be doing when you've donated to charity.

• You are a kind-hearted human being.
• I care about others, not just myself.
• I feel for those who are less-fortunate then us, and I'm making a difference.
• I donate my time, effort and well-earned money to help others.

And really, I'm hardly mentioning anything there. Just pointing out a few of the main things you are doing by donating to charity. I bet there are a thousand other things you'll be doing after donating a little of your money. You may donate to Sythe just because you get a little thing under your name, think how much more you'd be doing if you donated that to charity.

If you have your own house/apartment (etc) and your just buying those little things for the sake of it, put that habit aside and donate some money you may earn on the side to charity. I know you've probably heard all this and stuff like - "We take stuff for granted" a million times before but it's actually true, so think about others is all I'm trying to say.

Community work is another great way of being a good citizen. By doing this, your using your own time to help others. This shows your putting effort into helping your whole community and putting aside time to help those around you. Bellow, I've put together another list of things you can do to help your community by doing Community Work.

• Helping out at local schools or fairs, etc.
• Maybe try out as a local Firefighter or Voluntary Lifeguard, etc.
• Helping out at local shops if there busy.
• Help out with things that happen around your community for free.

Those are some things that will show people that you really are a good citizen. There are many other things you could do, obviously. Just put your mind to it and i'm sure you'll think of something. Look whats going on near you and check if there's anything that could use your help, if there is, go for it and get a good reputation.

Obviously, the environment is a huge problem which is always getting mentioned here, there and everywhere. No, I'm not going to be one of those people who won't shut up one second about the things were doing to our world but I do think it's important. There are many things people can do to help. Some of them could be like:

• Turn everything off when finished with it. Eg: TV, Computer, etc.
• If you have a car, don't drive for the sake of it, only drive when your travelling a long way.
• When brushing your teeth or something, don't use up to much water.

Well, I've only named three options there but obviously, there are hundreds, maybe thousands more things people could do. There's also many more things people could do to be a much better citizen. And, this is (I think) my last guide for my application. I'm off on a little two day holiday now so I'll check this when I get back home.

Obviously people here want some good guides that will actually help them in their life/internet,not just slapping some guides and hoping to get User educator rank,seriously,post something useful(besides the fact that it's ripped).
