Any tips for an aspiring syther?

I just joined sythe and I was wondering if you had any tips for somebody looking to make a name for themselves..

also, tips on getting vouches would be cool.

Account upgrades or free services work well. When trading make sure to read all the stickies in each section to make sure you don't get scammed. When trading w/ someone without a lot of vouches always use a very trusted middle man or an official middle man (OMM).

Other than that, just be courteous and friendly and you'll do great! Good luck!

Just prove the community you have something to offer, and do it right.

 

I don't advise free services, they're a waste of time and nobody values those vouches.

If you're looking to do market trades I suggest you buy/sell with traded users when you start out, and than once you rack up some vouches try starting up your own store.

Trust & Respect is key, if you stay trustworthy, business + respect will come.

 

Be professional at all times and have fun while you're doing things on here

 

Stay legit. Never scam. Never vade (waste of time). Set up free services. Do small trades for vouches. Do free services for vouches (but dont require vouches). Read the rules. Be friendly. Be constructive.

Make all you're posts count, and try to actually help a situation. Rather than repeat what everyone else has been saying, try to add something fresh to you're posts

Don't scam is probably #1. try to use good grammar, no one likes ten year old talk such as... "omg liek wut r u doin"

I don't recommend doing stuff just for vouches.
Trust will be earned along the way if you deserve it.

It all depends on what you want to do here, maybe you want to open an account or a skilling shop, maybe you just want to buy / sell stuff, it completely depends.

 

Be the cool one

 

If you plan to be active in the training/questing/fire cape sections then I would recommend doing 1 or 2 free services to start out with.
