Sorry if this is the wrong place but chances of ban for buying gold?

It honestly doesn't matter. They can see the mule is connected with your account if you're all logging in from the same ip. Even if you spoof your mules IP, you're still trading it directly from a gold buyer. Best to just not buy from foreign sites. That's all the advice I have.

 

I've bought gold for about 5 years now. Trust me you wont get banned

 

Trade on any account that's decently leveled in a p2p world anywhere outside of lumbridge. Put in junk items as well while trading.

 

In reality you can't take anyone's word..
Just because many people don't get caught doesn't mean it stands out for the other majority who did get caught..
It's always a 50-50. On some days your account can be in someones eyes at the wrong place and the wrong time and you will eventually get caught if you keep buying gold, share trade and sell or buy accounts. There is always a trail.. I use to bot for couple of years on different accounts then finally they caught me..as for the gold buying they have been cracking down on it. I would rather stay away from huge money transfers when you buy or sell. It's not that hard for the employees of Jagex to determine if people are buying or selling gold or botting anymore..It's all based on luck and balls of steel.

 

I've bought plenty of gold before but never sold large amounts. If selling - is it better to sell a lot at once (say 300m) or go small and do like 50m a day? Same chance of being discovered or are large gold trades flagged?

 

i've been banned once and that's cuz i traded with someone that apparently glitched at duel arena back in 2012...
