I was a proud member of this forum for 4 years and was also on staff for a bit which makes this even more personal.

I don't want to get all "eat my dust suckers" but i'm tired of staff with poor behavioural merits and a crappy attitude towards the users. Sythe has gone from bad to worse the past couple of months and I want to get out while i still can and not go down with it. I've made some great memories on this site but the level of newfaggotry and corruption sickens me to my soul.

Here's some tips i'll leave some of the newcomers so they don't make the same mistakes i did and they can make a name for themselves on sythe. These tips are both in general around the site as well as market and spam forum based.

-Don't Suggest Anything
I've made dozens of legitimate suggestions I believed could better sythe.org and all but one of them were denied or got me infracted for "trolling".

-Don't leave feedback
Positive or negative, don't leave feedback for staff. Positive feedback will make it seem like you're kissing up to the mods and negative feedback will cause them to hate you and be prejudiced towards you around the site. Sad times.

-Don't snipe from people in threads
This has got to be my biggest pet-hate on sythe. If I make a post in Johnk's graphics thread saying I would like a thread layout, if you are not Johnk, DON'T PM ME OFFERING TO DO THIS SERVICE. I DID NOT ASK YOU, I DO NOT WANT YOUR 2014 GRAPHICS SHOP. This goes for all around the market, not just graphics, it's a little sad and some dicks stole business from my questing thread more then once by doing this. Don't steal other peoples business through PM's, do it by having a better service.

-Don't pay $40 for some ridiculously overpriced over-flashy signature
It's just not worth it, take magic arrow for an example his signature is 400x more effective then some 15 year olds attempt at recreating 4th of july in your signature space and leaving you $20 dollars poorer.

-Have thick skin
For every fan you have, your gonna have 3 haters. Post once on sythe and you can guarantee your gonna be abused in the spam forum.

Sorry to hear your going man, leaving after putting 4 years into something is pretty tough. A lot of users are starting to notice the problems Sythe is having right now, including the staff issues.

As long as freedom of speech and my right to opinion don't get taken away by adding them to their fancy little rule book, I'll keep letting the staff know how I feel. I see a revolution coming to Sythe soon, if the current inner problems don't start getting dealt with.

Either that, or Sythe will slowly start to die. Oh wait, it already has.

Just came to say that you won't leave because this seems like a spur of the moment thing. Don't take it as an insult.

 

Sad to see you leave, yet you have so many reasons I know you'll do what best helps you.

 

I don't know what exactly caused people to be a dick to you, so I can't make judgments about that, I think you'll be back (in a good way), but I still don't see a need to create obnoxious and irritating threads as you have since I've been here, it just makes people pile on the shit when if you put-up and shut up they wont.

Anyways, good luck in the wide-world.
