Unmerged wow accounts are from 2004-2009 which are frozen for years and are not merged to battle.net accounts yet, there might be some old chars on any random servers,they are just random and no one is able to check any character's info before account is merged to a battle.net account as Blizzard forced the Battle.net merge since 2010 So you may get lucky.

After you merged it to your battle.net account, it will be under your own name/SQA/Address and all! and you can send the SOR invitation to yourself or another account and claim the rewards.
