Explain the service: Questing service - I had requested some quests be completed from Scratch. President messaged on my thread created stating his price he could offer. I had messaged back to say I'd been offered X price, can he do for cheaper. He advised he could so the amount of 65M was agreed and paid.

I raised my concerns that the service was taking longer than I had expected, in the hope to speed things up, and was told if I pay more that they can speed up the completion. I'm reluctant to pay more to 'speed things up' so told him I'll just wait, and asked he let me know when the work is finished.

In the meantime, I had left feedback for him on his services page.

President has now stated that the service has been cancelled, and will not refund me any of the money I have paid for this service (he's since blocked me on discord so I'm unable to find a resolution).

I think we have sufficiently protected ourselves above, but to give the moderator dealing with this a clear image of the entire situation:

In essence, we will answer why we chose to invoke this article (this is the first time we do this)

So we talked to our staff and we concluded that we don't want to continue in this manner. In essence, the customer is king, but there are limits to everything. The point of this specific post is not to show that we're right or wrong, but to give a picture of why we invoked article 4. Concretely, the account only needs DT and two quests done, but considering the harassment he is giving us, we in essence are principally refusing to do this at this moment. In essence, he is entitled to his opinion, but his opinion was just pure bashing and disproportionate. His feedback is just pure slandering and not constructive, especially when it was posted when we didn't even finish the job and it was not substantiated.

Where did I say, speed up or I'm leaving bad feedback?

Also, are you unsure of the quest list I gave you? As DT and two quests remaining is incorrect.

Yes, it's correct, bone voyage being one of them (so 3 quests + DT).

 

Notice the difference in tone between the feedback and the discord-chat; his nuanced, constructive and grounded opinion entails that we're "out there to steal his money". Additionally the service is "absolutely terrible" (how is 3-4 days for mith gloves + mm + dt from scratch terrible, specifically considering the lump he paid?)" and he never discussed a deadline and suddenly, out of the blue decides that we are too slow. In the span of two hours after that alleged statement he posts his "opinion" on Sythe. Again, this is slander, therefore we revoke a provision from our TOS that protects us against exactly this type of situation, we worked 46 hours for $32.50. The customer can finish the account himself. Note that we did not opt-out in the beginning. I believe that our stance was very reasonable and that we have dealt with the situation adequately.

 

He's stated that my feedback can only given once the service has ended. My issue is the time taken here, and general lack of updates on the progress - and so once that time is elapsed, I'll view the service negatively.

I wasn't aware that leaving review, would then mean someone can cancel an order. His terms of service are full of contradictions and so cannot be taken seriously. In the very line he's highlighted above it states they are bound to complete the service as agreed.

if President didn't make such a big song and dance about how customer oriented they are, maybe I'd have held off on my feedback. But he does, he thinks he's gods gift to a customer judging by his services thread - which clearly isn't the case as his first reaction to negative feedback is to just cut all contact.

Now, I accepted they were slow and said continue and let me know when you're done. But he's decided due to my feedback that he will cancel my order and subsequently blocked me on discord and removed me from the server

 

1. The customer never asked about progress reports. In addition, all the progress-reports we sent to the customer was out of our initiative.
2. You weren't leaving a review, you were slandering us and implicitly threatening that if we wouldn't hurry up you would leave it there.
3. We did not cancel the order, we paused it. There's a big difference between those two. NOW we are canceling the order.
4. There's a difference between 'causa proxima' and a 'causal link'. If you did not slander our thread, the order would have been finished (by now). So posting what you did might have activated a chain of events, but there's much more to us canceling your order than your feedback. We took all circumstances of the case into consideration to the point that it escalated.

 

paused the order? Didn't know that was a thing - someone complains about the wait and your idea of customer service is to pause it and take some more time. Astonishing.

 

Right. Here you can see that you are threatening to write up a scam report for pausing the service.

Yeah we said that after you threatened to post a scam-report which happened after I told you we were going to pause the order untill we figure out what to do. Please read up what I wrote about chain of events. Also get the order of things right
