Toonami soundtrack... awesome nostalgia

I think part of the reason I listen to the type of music I do today is because Cartoonnetwork introduced me to this sort of stuff so early on. I clearly remember thinking, as an 8 year old kid, how intense some of the music they'd play was, but of course it's only now that I'm older that I've come to really enjoy this sort of music, and I think now I know why.
I happened to come across the soundtrack today, and man, it's really good stuff...

I was thinking this would be TV show starting theme music. Did ya know Toonami is back on CN on Saturdays? I'm not too impressed with the lineup though (Bleach, Deadman Wonderland, Kesshern Sins, FMA: Brotherhood, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, and Cowboy Bebop). I like most of the shows, but I go to sleep after Deadman Wonderland, which had potential to be good, but has thus far failed through annoying voice actors, bad dialogue, and what seems to be turning into a pretty uninspired story. And Bleach is awful. I hate that show.

 

yeah I actually just found that out last night lol. Managed to catch an episode of Cowboy Bebop before I went to sleep. But no doubt, toonami won't ever be as good as the original. I'm glad it's back though. I just hope they keep on using music like this
