What do you think that the world would be like without religion of any kind???

i was just think about what it would be like with out religion of any kind in the world.

Science would never have been oppressed,we would be hundreds of years advanced compared to now, this present day. Many serious diseases may have been cured, we could have discovered new cleaner sources of energy, the list goes on.

 

Well for one my uncle, who was on one of the hijacked 9/11 planes would still be alive.

Aside from that...I'd image the world would be more homogeneous as religion often ends up classifying people and moving them apart into groups. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Less wars, more advancements in technology etc.

Less wars would happen and alot of history events wouldnt of happened.

The world would be a better a better place. And besides religion doesn't make sense because last time i checked talking to people who aren't their was called Schizophrenia.

 

Debatable you could argue that religion keeps people from "Sinning" which therefore prevents evil. Also religion gives people hope especially in poverty struck countries which is also a good thing.:love:

 

People can't be naive and say "World peace would be established". Men will find something to disagree on and fight about regardless.
