Something weird happened today.

We'll last night I went to bed on Halloween night because I had nothing to do, I guess soldier's don't like to go trick or treating haha. I mean there were parties going on but I'm so paranoid about drunk driving especially on base because the MP's will nail you, you'll lose rank/money/and 45 days extra duty etc. . .Anyway back on topic.

So anyway I went to bed pretty early last night around 10:30-11:00pm, and I had this crazy dream about my dog Mindy. The dream was kinda fuzzy, but I remember in my dream my dog dieing. So when I woke up around 9:00am and I called my mom. We're pretty close and I told her about the dream I had, we talked for a wile after that. But we both pretty much just brushed it off.

So I just called her about an hour ago, she's crying on the phone and she told me Mindy died about a half hour ago outside. She said she called her into the house to come in for the night. She didn't respond so she turned on the floodlight to go get her and she was laying there. She said she shook her and rubbed her to try and "wake" her up but she didn't respond. My mom has always been a little messed up since I left for the army, and the dog is the only thing she had left in the house so now she's really on edge. . .she's actually digging a hole in my backyard now.

So anyway, I thought that was pretty weird. How I have a dream about it and it happens the same day. Probably just a coincidence, my mom is trying to say I have a 6th sense haha. But I was always a skeptic on bullshit like that. . .6th sense/religion/gods/etc. . .

The dog was pretty healthy she was a lab about 8 years old.

So whats your view on it? BTW, I'm not looking for any sympathy or anything like that, I thought it was pretty weird and I wanted to share.

Yea, her friend just called me to try and calm her down. She broke down wile they were digging the hole. . .she thought Mindy made a noise and was still alive. It sucks though because I'm 981 miles away. Yup I know the exact number haha.

I think it was a prediction, I have tried stuff like that before.. There's things that are similar to it as well...Like..

Waking up 5 minutes before your alarm rings?

I have before had dreams/feelings, that something were wrong.. Example.. Like 3 years ago, I were in my parents car, with them, and I suddenly felt bad, I felt like something were terribly wrong, and when we got home, my aunt called, saying my uncle got rushed to the hospital with 2 Spinal disc herniations.

 

It's probably just coincidence. I mean, seriously. Let's not get all worked up on a six sense, or other blatant mumbo-jumbo.

 

I forget what its called, but in Psychology class I learned sometimes you can dream about things and then they actually happen. I believe its been proven too, I'll find out more tomorrow

Mmm, I gotcha. If you believe it keep practicing, you might be on to something. It happens to me a lot actually. . .but with stupid shit. Like my by buddy txted me "I got bad news" I thought hes dog probably chewed up my 360 controller. Sure as shit after I texted him "what" he told me the dog chewed on my left 360 stick. I don't like talking about it though because I sound crazy as fuck haha. I can't control its just random.

Something like that happened to me. I went to sleep on a Sunday and I dreamt of me getting in a car wreck and dying because I didn't wear a seatbelt. I saw my funeral and everything. The Friday of that week I was involved in a head on collision with another truck going about 60mph. The other driver was killed and I survived (they say) because of my seatbelt.

IMO, it wasn't a coincidence. Sorry about your dog, though.

I don't believe we can predict what is going to happen, it's just listening to your conscience leading you to believe something is up.

I do have an open mind; I believe in ghosts and aliens. It's just this sixth sense crap is getting annoying after no investigation. It's all put into speculation. I want more scientific proof, more evidence. But, I digress. Nobody's willing to give it.
