    Horror movies actually comedies?

For example... this movie I'm watching is about a monster chasing a group of people who have a helicopter, machine gun, gernade, helicopter pilot, army solider. Yet they won't use any of the supplies they have. Are horror movies supposed to be funny?

The monster ended up burning to death after they decided to burn a church.

I couldn't stop laughing during the Saw series.

I found it hilarious at how pathetic they were because they all ended up dead lol!

So yeah, i find those sort of movies equal to comedy movies. But they are just funny in a different way :).

Final Destination and 1401 are great examples of horror movies gone comedy.

Better known as a 'B' movie, these are mock horror films intended to also apply a sense of comedic value. Snakes on a Plane is a good example.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd Hills Have Eyes was supposed to be funny through the gore.

I find the older ones to be funnier. Newer gore movies don't really show that comedc aspect.
