Clarify the signature size rule for me please.

Am I in the wrong? My signature takes up less space than the signature limits state and the border of it is blank, and simply blends with the forum background. The signature isn't even obscenely large. The only screen it would stretch would be anything with less than 900 pixels in width in its resolution, since the browser automatically displays the forum almost to the max width of the screen.

 

"Maximum of 350 pixels in height including all quotes/text/pictures in it and a maximum of 650 pixels in width with all text/quotes/pictures. If this offense is repeatedly broken, you will simply be banned from having a signature."


your width is a lot more, from the border of the Valve thing to the end of the N is around 760. From the santa hat, it is around 716

 

It's not about the total area of the signature - it's the dimensions.
The reason we have a limit on the width is because for members with smaller screens the images stretch their page - meaning they have to constantly scroll across to read a post (The limit on the height is to stop one persons post from taking up the majority of the screen).
So apologies, but you will need to edit the width of your signature.

EDIT: and on a side note - the size of the Sythe forum pages change depending on how large your web browser window. Make it smaller, and the page will adjust to fit (having a smaller screen will cause this to happen also). One thing that Sythe does NOT do though is automatically adjust the size of any images - so your signature, if you make the web browser window small enough, will stretch the thread.
