Excellent choice so far, only things I'd change would be the case(its ugly IMO but its your choice)

graphics card if youre gaming should be a 6950 IMO.

 

Not bad, what are you planning to do with your PC? If just for casual use then get something mid range. If your looking into playing the latest games, I recommend the Nvidia GTX series.

 

Good setup. I'd consider the 2600k, but that's personal preference.

As far as GPU, what's your budget?

For around $300, I'd go with either a 6950 or 2x 6850's

If you plan on playing games a $100 video card won't be enough.

In your opinion which case should I get?

I have the NZXT Phantom and it's sweet. Looks nice, is very roomy, has quite decent airflow, etc. The only thing is it's kind of heavy, but until you get to high quality aluminum chassis, that's going to be an ongoing problem everywhere.

If you were looking for a bit smaller case, look at the Fractal Design Define R3. It's plain (imo that's kind of a pro) and simple, extremely quiet and has a nice balance of size/weight. Airflow isn't bad but it definitely isn't great either.

Other nice cases: Lian Li Lancool PC-K62, Antec 900, Cooler Master HAF 932, Cooler Master HAF 922, Lian Li Lancool PC-K58W, Corsair 600T, Corsair 500R, Corsair 400R.

Also, imo you're not leaving yourself enough headroom on the graphics card if you plan on doing any real gaming. $100 for a graphics card won't get you much :/ I'd say be willing to put down at least between $150-$200, preferably closer to $200, on the GPU alone.
