Someone explain bitcoin to me please

How do i sign up, how does it work, how do I receive payments and how do I then transfer bitcoin currency to my bank account

 

First, you choose a bitcoin wallet. I suggest Blockchain.info. After registering on their website you'll get a wallet code and you can send and request money from people. To send a payment, you ask for the other persons wallet address. To recieve, you give them your wallet address. The time depending on how long transactions take depends on the fees you send along with the transaction. To sell the btc to your bank you can use someone on Sythe that's buying btc or you can use Localbitcoin, google this. Bitcoins aren't refundable so be careful and always double check the wallet address you're sending to. Goodluck!
