Moat composition, less blurring. Use the rule of thirds.

Most tags are over blurred, try sharpening most of them and lower the opacity if too strong.

Your best tag to me is this:

Try blending it more and work on the lighting. Many light sources aren't giving off light, adjust that and sharpen it. Would be good, but like nero said work on the composition of your pieces as they tell the story.

The blurring in my signatures is what I usually get complimented on when I post on other graphics forum because it adds a nice depth perspective. Lighting isn't something I really focus on I'll try to improve on that aswell as my compo.

Sometimes I follow the rule of thirds, but I don't find it to be a necessity, In some tags It looks better without it IMO.

No, no tags look better without following basic rules. The Rules of Thirds and the Golden Ratio makes everything more appealing to the eye and that is why you follow them. They comprise some of the basic fundamentals of composition and compo is very, very important in a tag. You can have good effects but if you can't compose them worth a damn it is going to be a bad tag.

The borders are awful, drop them. They ruin tags.

Don't be a fool you don't always have to follow each graphics rule to accomplish making decent tag. I could post thousands of tags that don't follow rule of thirds, or follow the golden rule and are absolutely brilliant. You don't have to Ace every graphical rule to make a brilliant tag. Yeah, but those people are good at making signatures. When you get the basics down and know how to compose a signature to make it flow and give a good feel then you can do that. You have yet to master any of the basic principals of tagging.

I could go through each tag and explain what is wrong, but I can tell you are one of those people who don't take critique well so I would be wasting my time. So here is an overview:

Blurring the hell out of a piece doesn't make for good depth, good depth is achieved through light and shadow, with subtle blurring and a good composition of effects
Random lines and cinema borders ruin a decent tag as per all of your tags, learn when and where to use border - and hipster cuts aren't cool.
Composition is very weak, there is no flow in most of the tags, and duplicating a render and moving it around in the background doesn't make for a good background. It makes for bland colors and usually looks like a vomit of effects.
Learn lighting, most of your pieces have lighting elements but it isn't reflected anywhere else in the tag. Study photographs and read up on how light works that should help improve the lighting.
Join a decent tagging community like TagFreak.

Now if you don't think any of this is relevant to you then ignore this and continue what you're doing and keep making mediocre tags.
